It is a great Honor!! Congrats to all I would like to know how many boys on both lists are gettting looks from a college. It seems to me no matter how well you play in 1-A it is hard to get a school to really look at the boys does anyone know where any of the boys are going!!!!!!

better look at your prep extra stats Miller ran the ball 32 times in this game and I know there were others who ran the ball. We love football at our house so if you have a open day give me a call we can look over all the game films together.

The fact that you are a coach in this region you should understand how hard it is for thease 1-A kids to get a chance at the next level. Because they play for a small school stats mean everything when a college coach is looking at thease kids. We all have to play all of the schools in our region good bad or what ever This year Unaka or Jelleco were not going to help any of us as far as numbers go but we all had to play them. Yes the coaches should try to get the best games they can for the non region games. But some schools refuse to put you on the schedule. If you dont have the winning record you cant get the games. Grace was getting dog beat by everybody in the first couple years the existing coaching staff had to have a schedule. Kings and North Green Taft all were willing to play so the existing coach filled the schedule with a four year deal. What everone needs to understand is the game is played by the kids they want to play not sit out no mater the score i look at college games all the time and most coaches will score as much as they can it could mean the difference in a bowl game later in the year. I am not saying a coach should run up the score just to run up the score but if we would have pulled out the starters they would not have had a chance at the next level because they would have not played enough to get looked at as a 1-A player. THAT IS A FACT. My son is wanting to play college ball somewhere and we have had a real hard time getting anyone to look at him. If he did not have the stats he has they have told me he would not even get a look. It is a team game and the team must come first when the games are over the best players should not get the shaft as you put it, because of who they play for or were they play. The coach's who count the votes need to do the right thing by the players end of story!!!!

Congrats to all of the winners I was lucky enough to be there and I can tell you the room had something special about it.

No matter what team it is college coaches dont know about anything that goes on between coaches. All they see it the outcome. 1-A all ready has a hard time when it comes to getting kids into college. As I have said before let the adults fuss all they want but dont hurt the kids.

They were posted in the Knoxville paper and showed the MVP David Amos Grace and the offence player of the year the QB from Cloudland, defence a player from Unaka, and special teams a player from Jelleco just seemd very odd to me that the All three of the players of the year were from the three last place teams in the region

For some reason there was no one from Hamton on the list and if I read it right the top players in the reagion were from the three last place teams. Sure dont look good for the region.

GOOD TEAM! BUT WHEN YOU READ THE POSTINGS FROM THE FANS IT JUST MAKES YOU SICK. i HOLD THE BOX AT THE GAMES AND WE CAN HEAR EVERYTHING IT IS REAL HARD AT TIMES BECAUSE SOME FANS AND COACHES CAN BE HATEFUL. THEASE ARE STILL OR KIDS AND ANYONE WOULD SUPPORT HIS OR HER KIDS WHEN SOMETHING BAD IS BEING SAID ABOUT THEM. tHIS DUNB GUT WHO SAYS HE IS FROM gRACE NEEDS TO STO!!!! ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS PUT OUR BOYS ON THE LINE EVERY WEEK.

everyone wants to talk about all the points we have scored but if you look we have held the other teams to small scores and low yards this defense will help win games

so if we would let everyone score more points on us to keep the score inline that would make everyone happy and they would leave us alone. Yea right!!! Everyone forgets we to are a 1A team and dont go real deep just like everyone else in 1A

I had two kids go through public schools classes were to big both had trouble at the next level. The fact that it is a christian background was a Plus.

some kids have been hurt and some are no longer playing. trust me I count them every week
