  1. It's both teams first region game this year. McGavock handled Goodpasture while Hville has looked like 2 completely different teams this year. Hendersonville needs to just put both these games behind them and focus on the start of the real season. Yazzie will probably have another HUGE performance this game, the rest of the Commandos need to follow his lead and play with some more urgency. My pick: HHS- 28 McGavock- 10
  2. Congrats to Beech on a hard fought win. Hendersonville had better fix their red zone offense if they want to make any noise this year. Hall had a great game, him and Yazzie are going to make one heck of a combo this year.
  3. Please tell me you are not comparing your 3A region to a 5A one. And were you even at the Beech game? They scored when we had 10 players on the field, oh yeah, that's a beatdown......
  4. Ha, I can guarantee you that ole Bruce Hatfield and Co. wouldn't go that far. But I assure you he did use that for a little pregame motivation.
  5. I love how you get on here and belittle Hendersonville's win. Look what this win did for SC last year, if they had lost it I guarantee you they don't do nearly as good last year. So for you to basically say that the win doesn't matter is a joke. And give some love to Hville here, Station Camp playing poorly is not an excuse. You don't lose by 32 points because you had an off night, you lose by 32 points because you aren't as good of a team. Sorry. Good luck the rest of the season to SC though.
  6. I agree on the talent level of this HHS team. I think they could be the best team since the 2001 state championship team honestly, they have all the talent they need, just have to keep focused. It's Beech Week now Commandos, take it one game at a time!
  7. And the natural order of Sumner County football is returned. Congratulations Hendersonville on a curb stomping of Station Camp.
  8. ain't nothing like Sumner County football brother
  9. Good to hear! Sounds like the Commandos just have to work on a few silly mistakes and they could have a pretty good season. Can't wait for that week 0 matchup with SC.
  10. Can anyone tell me how Hville looked in this one? I know they lost and all, but were there any positives or negatives you guys could help me with? I was unable to attend sadly enough.
  11. Thanks. About what I figured to hear, that's how the Buccaneers always are lol. Hopefully we will be able to take advantage of weaker lines though.......
  12. I don't know why you insulted UT exactly. I guess if that is the only thing you can find about me to make fun of I must be doing a pretty good job ha. And for the record, I think it is pretty clear that I am not, nor ever was, a Green Wave fan, I hate them quite honestly. I just got sick of seeing a silly little fight, that you randomly picked, take over a thread that I was actually interested in. So now that this clown is gone, anyone want to give some input on Beech this year. I've seen a lot of talk about Gallatin, but no so much about Beech.
  13. Is this topic even about football anymore? LAME

  15. Ah, i see now. Should be a great test for both teams heading into the regular season.
  16. Right on man, you have to root for them Sumner Co. teams ha. Look forward to having you and and all the Station Camp fans coming up here on Friday, hope you enjoy your HHS experience.
  17. Station Camp at Hendersonville I agree with you bison4, only game that matters. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  18. Good luck to the Commandos tonight!
  19. Hendersonville did lose a lot 2 years ago.....but not too much last year. I don't really see how losing seniors from 2 years ago will effect this year's team. Explain?
  20. Kind of silly to randomly get on here and bash a team you have played one time. I mean, I hate Gallatin as much as anyone, but at least I have a reason ha.
  21. Having seen White House play now, I am definitely picking them to win this region. They are great up front on O and that little RB they've got is going to put up some numbers this year. The only weakness I saw in them was their run D, if you go straight at them, you can control em, and just watch out for little quick screens to stop any passing game they have. But even with those, they have got to be the team to beat in this region, it is their's to lose. Good luck to White House and Station Camp this year.
  22. It just now started?!?! Wow, like a week before the season, Fixin up the ole Wave Yard eh?
