Hendersonville wins if they continue to play the physical football we have come to expect of them this year. I'm predicting a good close game, can't wait to have Ravenwood come up to Hendersonville. One of the few local 5A teams I haven't ever seen play, should be fun. Put the region championship in the back of your heads boys, it don't mean a thing once the playoffs start. Especially against Ravenwood, we've seen what they've done to Gallatin.

Hendersonville is the best of course.

They should have to forfeit all region games because an ineligible player played in like 7 plays of scrap time in 2 blowout games, only one of which was even a region game? The rules were changed prior to this incident, so just chill out. And that one region game that was vacated is costing the Commandos from already holding the region crown, so I think it is a little more than a slap on the wrist.

So Hendersonville won because Gallatin didn't come to play? None of that had to do with Hendersonville playing good football huh? There will be no voting on the player issue. Hville has already vacated the 2 games that the player was used. I think that's the end of it.

Start the best players, but you HAVE to get all the seniors some real playing time. Winning the game would be an even nicer gift though.

I will give a warning to Gallatin: McGavock isn't a bad team by any means, we only beat them 10-6. I just think with all the distractions with their coach PLUS coming off a loss to a terrible Overton team, they won't be ready to play a team like the Wave. Then again, this could be the perfect game for them to come out and give absolutely everything they have, since they know this is their last game , what do they have to lose? Hmmmmm, the more I think about it, maybe this could be a trap game for Gallatin.......

Fair enough. Let me make it clear that I do have respect for any coach that coaches one of these teams, because there is no way in the world you could get me to go into that level of disrespect and coach a team. Maybe Metro football will improve with this reclassification, couldn't get much lower.

The more you make this excuse for them and act like Metro is so different, the longer it will be different. You think hitting a kid in Metro is the only way to get to them? Then it is the adults who have failed Metro, not the kids. Maybe if you tried actually talking to them now and again, this wouldn't be the only way to get to them. But yeah, I do know exactly what the coaches are going through. I played these Metro teams for 3 years, and I had to put up with the constant and blantant disrespect. Here's the difference though: I didn't run around crying about how unfair they were and taking cheap shots back on them because I was taught better by my coaches. Maybe that's what Metro needs?
