They run the veer. They are also about a 70/30 pass team. Couple good running backs, good QB who used to be a starting wb for our team that went to the third round. Good receiving core. Should be a really good match up. They have more speed than size, and, as saw in the Smith County game, it is a great advantage. The veer, wow. To my knowledge you don't see that much anymore. It's my understanding York runs a unique version of the Wing-T where the splits of their linemen are much closer than other versions of this offense. Can anyone from York compare and contrast their version of the Wing-T, strengths, weaknesses, etc.? Also, what's their percentage of run vs. pass?

Chuck is a very kind fellow but tell the mayor he can rub the Bison but he can't borrow a pencil. I'll be there as well. I'll have the upper middle class Camelite uniform, khaki pants, starched white button down, tasseled loafers and severely parted blond hair which may or may not be the real color. Can anyone tell me how Chris Donald is doing at UT? I haven't seen anything in the The Tennessean or the Nashville TV stations about him. He was really impressive in high school.

FYI to everyone, Channel 30 is going to air a Thursday Night game of the week each week beginning August 21st at 7pm for those who get the Nashville Broadcast stations either through satellite, rabbit ears or cable. I've listed the likely match ups for the first 5 games : [Ravenwood at Goodpasture 8/21Hendersonville at Beech 8/28Siegel at Wilson Central 9/4Smyrna at Brentwood Academy 9/11Maplewood at Hillsboro 9/18 Again, these are the probable match ups. The remainder of the schedule is yet to be finalized. Thought everyone would want to know especially all of the kids who play on local teams. Although, the Friday game of the week on Comcast is nice, none of the players get to see it live because they're playing at the same time. This Thursday night game of the week will allow the players and fans of other teams to see another game each week. You can watch the Thursday night game, go see your favorite team live on Friday and I guess you could tape or DVR the comcast game. You now have the option to see three games a week if you're in Middle Tennessee. (one live, 2 on TV) Hope you enjoy the info. I'll let you know if I find out the remainder of the schedule. One final thing, Taco Bell is the primary sponsor of these games. They're actually going to be called "Taco Bell Thursday Night Lights." Do you think Camden improved from week one to the second round of the playoffs or did they stay stagnant? Perhaps both Camden and Peabody improved equally over the course of the season. I can see your contention that Peabody improved exponentially since they won rematches with Westview and Milan. Had they played Camden again would they have won that rematch? We'll never know. However, in less than a week you will know how you stack up with GP. All of the posting on these boards won't mean squat. Can you block, can you tackle, can you score or keep the other team from scoring? We can all make our case on what bull has the biggest horns. Let's just see how it plays out on Friday. I'm sure both teams welcome and embrace the challenge. May the best man be left standing.

Thanks. I know this year it seems like we've blocked a kick/punt or ran back a punt/kickoff for a TD in every game. We seem to do one or the other every game. See if you can add a clip from this year. That's pretty sweet.
