Curt has been granted a medical redshirt for the 2011 season. He recently had surgery to repair his knee once again.

OK, TB, you've got another momma going now! IF and I mean IF Boone comes to Death Valley and pulls the upset, of course, BT momma will be backing her boy! That's what mommas do! But we'll worry about that IF and when the time comes.

I'm really starting to like all of this Tennessee High hype. It sounds like the talk about South and DB before that game!

One of the Rebels' goals should be to score first this week. How long has it been since we have put the first points on the board?

The Times Snooze has the score from the Tennessee High game, but that's it.

We made the trip to Johnson County 3 years ago, and I was so impressed by the atmosphere at the game. We stepped out of the car and could smell hamburgers on the grill. The home side of the field is so nice - with the seats built into the hill. It was a beautiful night - after we got there. But we went the wrong way from Col Hts. Can't remember what we did, but we were almost late and those last few curves when you are in a hurry are not a good way to start a game! What is the best way for us Rebels to get to Mountain City and still have the stomach to eat one of those hamburgers?!

The last one I can think of is Jason Witten to UT from Elizabethton in 2000.

Curt is doing well in Madison. He is red-shirting this year since WI has 5 quarterbacks. Hopes to be in the mix next year.

South fans, I was just at the school to pick up our tickets. The South allotment of 500 tickets is almost gone. If you are planning to pick some up, better get to the school early tomorrow morning. Of course, you will be able to buy tickets in Maryville Friday night. Looks like the South Rebel supporters are planning to show up in full force! GO BIG BLUE!!
