  1. Just looking through the list of odd names I noticed one about mid-way through the High School list Immigrants --- New York Lower East Side Prep I guess that every one in AMERICA except the NATIVE should be upset about this one!!!??!! /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> BTW if you look at my screen name, That is my real middle name.......means: Walks Tall
  2. I agree the SC defense played their hearts out and left it all on the field #75, #23, #1 great job and #9 good DB this guy was every where, made several good stops. I think him and #41 from Camden got fairly well aquainted last night, got beat on the pass a couple times But great job. formerlionsdad... I think we spoke after the game.... I appreciate the kind words. Camden fans are a classy bunch of people. Everyone I spoke to last night had nothing but kind words for this SC team. SC and Camden players both showed great sportsmanship and respect for each other on and off the field CONGRATS, that was a football game.

  4. I just came from play it again sports, in search of the "nike" gloves for ball handlers, The clerk there told me that TSSAA made a rule change and that the players can only wear items with NFL logos or generics with no logos. I've spent the las hour looking through the TSSAA handbook for 08-09 and couldn't find anything about the so called iconic logo's like nike, underarmour, addias ect.ect.ect............. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> Can anyone shed some light on this or is this just another clerk trying to sell a higher dollar item. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  5. Amen brother, this thread is supposed to be about Stewart Co. and Hickman Co. not HC/Waverly. Less than 22hours to game time and I still believe this will be aclose game it's in the top 20 ig games on this site at number 11 and unapproved website list it as #3 big game. Congrats to both teams on the playoff, hope its injury free.
  6. I believe if both offense and deffense for SC shows up they could give Hickman Co. a run for their money. People keep bringing up schedule strength, Yeah you're right SC could pick some harder teams to play, but Hickman Co's schedule strength isn't that great either.... They played one 3A who's sched. strength is 46th and one 4A school who's sched. strength is 45th.... That being said it gave them a schedule strength ranking of 53rd in the 2A class SC ranked 43rd. With these numbers it just might turn out to be a good game. GO LIONS!! GO MUSTANGS!! GO REBELS!!!
  7. Thanks for the support Butchie and Lions4ever.......deerhunter you need to forget about paptiger he dosen't like us for some reason, but you have the support of the whole SC community behind you. Just ignore him and may be he'll start worrying about Waverly. Congrats to Camden on the Region Championship. Good luck to Camden, Huntingdon, and Rebels in the playoffs, Hope every one has an injury free post-season
  8. SC hasn't given up hope.....but I think your right, The coach has probably told these boys to stay off, keep their heads in the game. Camden is a great team, but these boys are hungry /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />..........should be a good game. I've got alot of good friends down there and I know Camden loves their football, SC has a great following too. Wright Field is gonna get loud Friday Night /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> .......Good luck to both teams
  9. It's not!!!?? dang told wrong again, but you're right Camden is Camden should be a good game.
  10. Careful man, Butchie is trying to lead you in the wrong direction /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />
  11. You know if you put that together it comes out "LIONS DRILLED", I thought you were pulling for Camden. Good luck to both teams.
  12. Im a big rebels fan, always will be win or lose these boy try and they try hard, yeah their schedule may be ranked 49th, but they are building. Rebels watch out for the Irish they are sleepers this team scored some 30 plus point against Montgomery central in the final minutes of the forth quater to come away with a win, just stay focused, keep your heads up and you'll be ok.
  13. Thanks for the support and the vote of confidence, unlike GotGame who just cant see that SC has turned the corner and just might be on the verge of building a great football program. Good luck next week. Play safe and play fair.
  14. Congrats Stangs....... Exciting Game Keep your head up Rebels, you play a great game, now its time to focus on bigger things. Keep this game in the back of your minds and correct you mistakes there's a good chance you'll meet again.
  15. I know you were, I was just saying that this team has alot of heart and, that all the injuries has brought them together. No matter the out come of the next couple of games these boys played one heck of a season. Rebs 20....Stangs 17
  16. Ok I'll admit it Iwas looking at the wrong schedule, I was looking at the jv schedule from 2005 and I didn't say they were dominating that series I just said they had beaten camden before and who knows it could happen again wierder things have happend and jv boys grow up tobe varsity.
  17. You say SC has no clue what it's like to play teams like mckinzie, camden, or milan..............where have you been i know we have played camden several times and beat them on the home field. Just because this site say these teams have never met it's because camden changed it's name to camden central. Plus I think this is SC's first year in this region so at 6-1, that's not too bad.
  18. Amen preacher.........er......uhhh....CatfifishHunter.
  19. Dont blame the injuries , that is what has brought SC together 36 playing with a high sprain 12 is out, knee 22 out blown knee 9 missed most of summer had the plica removed from knee and is playing through that 1 is back on the field finally and there is many more but these kids have been playing together for a long time and that has brought them together I say Rebels 20, Mustangs 17
  20. Whew!! that was a squeaker...... Congrats to both teams, Keep your heads up cards that was a great 2nd half......Now rebels keep your feet on the ground Huntingdon is next They lost tonight but it will still be a tough one Can you believe it Rebels 6-1........Congrats /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  21. Took me a minute but I know who you are now, We sure do miss you on the field I know there still more out there for you, Good luck to both teams, but I'm pulling for the REBELS
