so Soddy Daisy won 33-6 but thats not the important thing here. young man from Heritage was seriously hurt in the final 2 minutes of the game. i would much appreciate it if somebody from the school would let us know his progress when it becomes available. he will be in the hearts and prayers of all soddy players and fans

so true... so very true. soddy always has extra pressure on the players to win homecoming. this being the homecoming i think the trojans win. not sure how close it will be. but im sure that EK will have them plenty prepared after the Hixson game nearly got away

got to agree, the area is so pretty around. worst grass goes to oak ridge. when i played there it seemed like it hadnt been mowed in about 3 months and the away locker room has wet slick concrete floor. best away locker room i played in was McMinn. but i think soddy has some nice grass question, are all the knoxville stadiums designed by the same person? all the ones i have been to looked the same

everybody is talking about these boys putting themselves above the "team". but the whole problem was the group not taking the game seriously. therefore not being a "team". if i was the coach they would be suspended a few games, forced to work their way back up the depth chart, run after, clean the locker room, not be captains of course, and clean the weights in the weight room. this would prove their point, if they really want the other players to take football seriously, this should show the other players how serious they want to play football. both objectives are accomplished.

untested??? your not serious are you? i think rhea county is quite a good test for anybody. and most of the rhea fans said that it shoulda went into overtime cause rhea was offsides on the extra point block. and i'd be pretty high up on Haney too. i dont know what it is, but he is just hard to tackle. wont break your ankles, wont run around you, he just finds a way to not get brought down. much like #5 for bradley and moffet [sp] for rhea.

really, this is a great rivalry and most of these kids know each other very very well. many played baseball at middle valley with each other and attended loftis middle school with each other. in my opinion red bank is a rival of soddy because of the tradition. hixson and soddy are rivals cause of the people, they know each other and see each other on a regular basis. cant wait to see soddy and hixson stands packed full. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

hixson has beat soddy like one time in 12 years i think, correct me if im wrong please. if hixson beats soddy its an upset in my opinion.

great game last night. terrible officiating tho. they should never officiate a game again. PJ hubbard recovered that fumble, i was right there. rhea county guy fell and it popped out from under him. 22 got a block in the back and the ref pointed right at it. 3 scrambled and got to the 1 and it was marked at the 5. offsides on the blocked extra point. few facemasks on both sides. one tripping not called on soddy. and then the clock that was just stupid. coach even pointed it out and they were to proud to fix it. but after all that we saw one of the better games of the year. it was true when i used to play. Rhea county fans and players are some of the most kind anywhere. sportsmanship of the rhea area isnt found anywhere else. good luck luck to both teams the rest of the year.

the fact is they did cramp. and lost. better conditioning and better prevention woulda prevented that. but the name calling is too much. we are sittin here braggin and talkin about high school kids. none of us were involved in the game. so all the credit goes to the great student athletes we saw on the field that night. all we can hope is that Rbpride decides to show himself on here and the there are many more good games in this great rivalry yet to come.

why doesnt anybody wanna coach at soddy? big school, great community, loving fans, incredible booster club, incredible field, and a new strength and conditioning coach that was at west virginia. theres everything in place for a great team.
