that funny right there....I don't if you are from Alcoa....LOL.....Here's the deal. Alcoa is welcome on a Milan Thread anytime IMHO. It has been fun playing them for the past two years. A little more fun for them than us but still when you mercy rule teams through the first three rounds....outscoring your opponents 201 to 64 in 4 games it was fun to play somebody that was good...real good. I have much respect for a team that has great coaches and students who work hard to get where they are. I will not be so bold as to say "see you in Cookeville" but, Alcoa has every right to say that.

Since 2001 Milan leads this series in the regular season 7-2. Most of these were in close battles. If you like good, hard nosed, close, football games, this friday will not disapoint. I do believe that Morris has Coady's number and all those formations dont really catch them off guard because there preperation is tops in State.

This will be a great game.....Milan and Huntingdon always bring the best that they have for each other. This year will be no exception....I look for the Dawgs to pull it out in a close one.

I love how football fans are so fickle. When I walked out of the first Match up I over heard peabody fans saying they wanted to get rid of Coach Scott he was the reason that they couldn't win. I am proud for him and I hope that he has gotten all his critics off his back. Thats right peabody fans we at Milan dont know how to lose graciously because it seldom happens, you however dont know how to win the big ones graciously because that seldom happens. I believe we've proved that with 25 consecutive playoff appearences and counting (a state record), 4 gold balls, region championship after region championship, I dont think we have had a losing season since I 've been alive So gloat all that you want, you have reason to, you split a season with arguably one of the top programs in the state. we'll be back again and again but the stats show you probably wont

About the 97 game, what was told is that hampton changed jerseys to "trick" Milan and that is how he got open for the screen at the end of the game. What happened to hampton didn't he get in some trouble and end up missing his senior year? either way this is going to be a classic. I look forward to a good injury free football game.
