I'm not sure if Clevelands defense is all that good. They did stop Johnny Boy Allens wing-T when Voytic didn't throw an interception. (first game of the year for that). But gave up lots of points to K Central and Alcoa. Walker Valley's offense seems to be coming to life against a down year Red Bank team. With that said, I'm gonna call a WV win in a close game.

Those steps are an honor reserved for Bradley football players and coaches. Just so you know, visiting teams walk around the back side of the stadium. Once called the bear walk, it is now named in honor of the late Bradley coach Chief Bill Robertson. On a lighter note, Bradley put up 52 on Soddy last week without the starting RB. Actually they ran a sophmore most of the night. Rue ran a couple times. Don't know if Justin will be back or whether he will be needed. Too many weapons. stop run, pass, stop pass run. Keep 2 people on our QB or you will get burned. Can't cover Stoval 1 on 1. Then theirs Rue, Pickle, and 3-4 other receivers to get open. Screens, bubbles, reverses. Love to watch that O.

oh please, Band gets what it wants. Who won the war over the concession stand a couple years back. BAND!!!!!! Band is uno number one, first, above all else, how else do I need to say it. Jeez, look at the record That school has never had a winning season playing in the correct classification for the numbers they had enrolled. Yeah, they won some games playing in the old 3A classification and had 5A enrollment numbers. Now I will say they have an up and coming wrestling program. They stuck with a coach and he is turning it into a good program. Change football coaches and the program will remain mediocre at best and 3 yrs down the road, someone will be blaming that head coach.

I don't know who this coach is but taking a head coaching position at a school like WV is not a good idea. I don't think anyone wants a resume as a head coach with a loosing record. That's exactly what will happen. Walker Valley is formost a BAND school. Band is king and football provides a place for the band to perform. The coaching job will be a career killer for any coach. No one can beat the system. I will be suprised if Lockerby leaves. He will get at least 1 more year. If it was a bad band director, that person would be gone immediately.

Don't bet on losing that many will hurt. Lots of underclassmen got extensive playing time. Upcoming sophmore class was undefeated in middle school and I beleive the JV did very well last year. But, you never know who transfers in and out and all that. Hardest to replace will be Bolton at end.
