  1. Just watched it I don't know about the butt whipping stuff, Clearly the Baylor kid came up with his helmet sideways, turned it straight, pulled it off and thru it at the other kid, I tried to see the bouncing back and hitting him in his face, but couldn't see it, but he clearly reaches up to his face after the incident, I did look at the ref and he followed the play and then for some reason turns back to where the boys were at in the pile in the back field, I don't know if he heard something, but he was definitely looking at the pile in the backfield before the 78 came up off the bottom, he must of seen something, i don't know, though film does clearly show 78 throw his helmet at 54, i guess the only guys who know are 54, 78 and the ref, but theres something more than we know is going on there Though if you watch enough times and look at all the stuff that goes on around it, aside from bad sportsmanship, and thank goodness nobody getting hurt, its almost funny, you see the other Baylor kid cringe when he hears the helmet hit the other kid, both kids get up and start pointing at the other kid, the ref taking his sweet #%* time walking to them and throwing the flag, 54 huddling LC up moving up the field pointing over his shoulder, as he is sure the personal foul is agaisnt Baylor, and I can see why All in all exciting game, Good Luck with the rest of your season!
  2. Let me just get this straight "dude", the baylor kid, unprovoked, took his helmet off and threw it at your kid and then went and "whined" the ref that he did this and the other kid got ejected, In addition your saying my earlier post says that Lincoln County kid pulled off the Baylor kids helmet, it doesn't Just trying to get it straight "dude" I have reposted my earlier statement, just you can get it right "dude" "Clearly you have no idea what happened that night or why the offical ejected the correct kid. This is what happened, up until the point of the ejection the the Lincoln County boy at center was having a very tough time with the nose guard from Baylor and becoming more frustrated as the game went on, this is very clear from the video On the play the incident happened, the Baylor Nose Guard ended up on the bottom of the pile with his legs trapped underneath the pile and his upper bodysticking out face down, The Lincoln County kid then proceeded to grab the Baylor kids face mask and violently jerk his head, while the Baylor kid was trapped under the pile, so what you had was boy on his feet, pulling a boy in basically a dead lift position by the face mask, Now for the Baylor kid throwing his helmet, when the ref finally physically stopped the kid from jerking the Baylor kids helmet and the Baylor kid got up from under the pile, his helmet was on sideways from being jerked on, his nose was in the ear hole, the Baylor kid pushed up on his helmet from the from the face mask and back of the helmet and the helmet came flying off, that was the end of it, while the Baylor kid was upset he had no idea what had happened since he had been face down There is a huge chunk of meat out of the Baylor kids nose, and his lip was also busted up pretty bad from this incident, while Baylor pulled him off the field to regain is composure, he returned to the game a couple of plays later. The correct call was made by the offical!" Now for Muffin, there was no debate clearly you guys have no idea what you are talking about, there was no film review to reinstate the kid, the kid was ejected for the remainder of the Baylor-LIncoln County game for a flagrant personal foul, that is it, free to play in subsequent events, no review, kid was ejected for the remainder of the game! And in my earlier comment that was probably good because it was very early in the game and it would have been a long night for the poor boy!
  3. Guys, please clear this up for me, are you saying that the Lincoln County Boy was ejected for more than just the completion of the Baylor/Lincoln County Game? Further are you saying that the TSSAA had to review the game film before the player cold be reinstated to play?
  4. Everyone has it on film, the Lincoln County boy was standing over the Baylor kid, he was physically removed from the pile by the ref., the Baylor kids helmet was on side ways when he came up, again clearly the right call, People see what they want to see, an offical standing a couple of feet away is going to have the best look, Look on the bright side, it was still fairly early in the game!

  6. That's great, congratulations, we have some college kids putting TN wrestling on the map, the only thing news like this can do is help our sport! Great job!

  9. Again, that's to funny, but insteady of "minion" can we please use "toady".
  10. now that's funny, it reminds me of the "Chistmas Story" when Scut Farcas and his toady held down the other kid and made him say uncle, we all know how that turned out, don't we walkenvol? My pick Baylor 72 McCallie 4
  11. Not sure why someone would say these things about someone over a comment meant to be humorous, unless there is something more that is not being said, typically jealousy I have been around Tim now for three years, a lot this last year, and have never once heard him bring up the subject of the "chair incident", he has spoken about McCallie and I think it is with some sorrow in his voice, he and his family are now at Baylor and are a big part of the Baylor community and I am grateful they are here. Baylor is not perfect, McCallie is not perfect, no school system is perfect. Though I can say this with 100% conviction, Baylor is a better place because the Manley's are there. In regards to dropping the wrestling program at McCallie, from what I saw last night at the Soddy/McCallie match they are very close! The coach was even MIA! McCallie's 112 pounder will have his hands full, because rather than concentrate on a single wrestler or a single match or beating a single school, Baylor concentrates on improving each individual wrestler every practice, eery match every day and part of this improvement is because of Tim Manley. While Tim works extra with his own son, he also works extra with any Baylor wrestler, the only thing they have to do is ask! In fact, not just Baylor wrestlers, but any wrestler that wants to improve, work on a specific area or just roll around, this wrestler can be any age from any school, he just has to ask and show an interest. There is no doubt in my mind that if a McCallie wrestler called Tim and asked if he work with him, Tim would gladly spend the time with that young man! Alex Manley stands on his own two feet, there is nothing that anyone can do to overshadow what a great wrestler and fine young man he is, the last comment was the most ignorant of all the comments you made! An apology would be appropriate.
  12. I'm so stunned right now I'm afraid to say anything else. this is a joke, right?
  13. I agree with your first statement and I think your second statement is half true and the other half is funny!
  14. Bradley and Baylor need to wrestle, having the #1 and #2 teams in the state wrestle each other can only be good for the sport!
  15. The situation in regards to the seating for the wrestlers was bad, there was plenty of room to separate the mats in the middle and move them closer to the outside walls and allow both teams to sit opposite each other, it wasn't so bad in the auxillary gym, but in the main gym it was bad In the finals there were several take downs on the edge of the mat, where the wrestlers toes were in bounds, then his body was stretched fully out, and the other wrestler was laying in the arms of kids, fans, wrestlers in front of the CH bench, so you had a wrestler on the wood floor being physically caught by people sitting around the mat and not letting his momentum take him out of bounds, allowing the other wrestler to keep his toes in bounds, then an inexperienced ref. scoring this as a take down, Rule clearly states 10 foot area around the wrestling mat, when this is not possible, which many times it is not, the referee must take all things into consideration, but he should never of have allowed a row of people sitting on the floor in front of the CH bench
