  1. Are you serious? I just wanted to point out that the "recruits" you are mentioning have attended MBA since the 7th grade. In order to get into MBA you must prove that you are academically fit i.e. pass the ISEE test and then afterwards go into further consideration among a plethora of other applicants. Being accepted in and of itself is an honor. How they develop as gentleman, scholars, and athletes comes after their acceptance into MBA. If you're a BA supporter and are criticizing MBA for recruitment, please please please don't make a fool of yourself. I believe it was BA that was taken to court on recruitment violations and was placed on a lengthy 13 year probation period. The MBA football team as Coach McGugin most eloquently put is filled with student-athletes. Several were national merit FINALISTS, others were inducted into Totomoi, one of the most prestigious societies at MBA. Being successful athletically doesn't necessarily indicate recruitment you fool. Besides, I find it quite difficult to recruit players coming into the 7th grade, I'm pretty sure "growth" has to actually occur before any accusations can be made. This accusation is heinous, as is everything you speak.
  2. This is you on November 17th on this thread: Brentwood Academy will win. Thats a certainty. Without a doubt. Inevitable. Only a matter of time. Not a question of 'if' but 'when'. And all the MBA fans went whining away. Fail much?
  3. Quit complaining and stop blaming it on the refs. MBA had more penalties for more yards called against them. The reffing was bad but it didn't affect the outcome of the game, if BA stopped complaining and started playing then maybe the outcome would have been different. Trust me Wesley Johnson doesn't hold, he'll be DI player next year and an all SEC recruit, just because your D-men couldn't match up well doesn't necessitate he was holding. No need for a new Crew, no need for a new game. You had two chances and failed during both. Chris Jordan had a real impact on last night's game didn't he? Oh wait he still didn't get into the endzone and was manhandled by the MBA defense. BA's longest drive was 35 yards and it wasn't because of the penalties it was the defense. No excuses, Play some football and Play it Clean. ROLL RED ROLL
  4. The kid has a career infront of him you bafoon. Regardless of whether we won the championship or not, it didn't require the actions that some of the BA kids put forth after the game. It's a shame to see how low they sank especially the line man that hurt Jay Cole...tell me you wouldn't react as fervently if one of your players had the same happen. Quit being a hypocrite.
  5. I just wanted to give a big shout out to Hadouken, not only did he have the audacity to predict a given BA win, but he was able to come back and say that he never really wanted BA to win. Come on Bro, there's a reason you didn't play football, don't play football, and will probably never play football. When a team shuts out another team, prevents an all SEC recruit from getting much steam and manages to stuff the passing game, that's clearly not indicative of state champion worthy right there is it? I mean Father Ryan clearly deserved playing in the championship despite being punished twice by MBA and by BA. Get off the bandwagon, not even the BA fans want you and I'm sure you embarass Father Ryan by making nit wit predictions that a four year old could determine more accurately. This game was for all the doubters and haters like you Hadouken. Remember the Big Red... Perfect Season (13-0) 12-0 Victory over Brentwood Academy for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. ROLL RED ROLL
  6. No, what I mean is that McGugin and the defense will be prepared for anything Chris Jordan dishes out. What's up with all this talk about my usage of the word recruit. He is being recruited to play for some SEC teams is he not...that is what the word recruit is referring to, not BA's coincidentally strong ability to attract high school football players.
  7. No, he's referring to Ryan's lack of a stadium. I really don't understand why the Irish keep thinking MBA is their cross town rival. The rivalry has to actually be competitive as in a bit more than 11 straight MBA wins...Back to the BA story. Give the Big Red some credit. The running game worked rather effectively to put 13 points on the Board against the huge BA D-line...and with continual improvent on the passing play, look for a TD from Spencer Wise. Yes, Chris Jordan is back...but Mcgugin has some tricks up his sleeve to contain the recruit. 12-0...13-7...final score: MBA 24 BA 17 A huge year for McGugin and the Boys.
  8. 1. That's your opinion and regardless if you look at pages 5-13, he's infected those pages with his crap. 2. Still, that's fifty plus yards that they gave up each drive, the majority of which we're run plays. 3. It is relevant. If tate has the ability to rush for as many yards as Jordan, then his presence should be easily as effective. Jordan's presence doesn't change the entirety of the game. 4. No they actually aren't small. The passing game for MBA is rejuvinated and as strong as ever. I guarantee you Vinsang, Waddey, and Bartholomew will have 200+ combined rushing yards on the "impenetrable" d-line. Thanks.
  9. Jesus is it hard to say anything sensible when people like Yamrocks spam the board with continuous inane drivel. I honestly hope Yamrocks is a BA player because he's gonna get knocked flat like the rest of the BA defense. Look for Vinsang, Waddey, and Bartholomew to once again pick apart the BA D-line. It'll be a close game...for the first three quarters, but it seems a lot of people are doubting MBA's previous win over BA. Chris Jordan or not, their tailback still rushed for about as much as Jordan has been averaging on the year. Offensively for the Big Red, Andrew Harris and Spencer Wise have rejuvenated the passing game, not to mention MBA's stellar O-line featuring Preston Bailey and Wesley Johnson. Get ready for a Big Red Smackdown at MTSU this Saturday. Final Prediction: MBA- 27 BA-13 (assuming BA has a kicking game)
  10. Blow out. That's all the game against Knox-Webb really was. MBA's coming in with a heck of a lot of momentum coming off of a huge win at home. With the home-field advantage that the Big Red is sporting, this rematch shouldn't be much of a contest. Ryan's rushing defense will be obliterated yet again due to the speed and toughness of the runningbacks, not to mention one of the most powerful offensive lines the state has seen. First quarter should be tight, but MBA pulls away big after wearing down the Irish. Final Score Prediction: MBA- 31 Ryan- 10
  11. It all comes down to the run game of MBA and the rushing D of Father Ryan. It is an absolute crush in MBA's favor in this aspect. With Vinsang, Bartholomew, and Waddey it seems the Irish will have a heck of a time trying to stop the Big Red Rushing game which is something every single team that's played MBA hasn't been able to do and as a result MBA is 8-0. Not to discredit the passing game or the big red D which have earned victories, but simply put this rushing game is hard to stop. Some slips by the big red will keep the game close, but definetly not close enough because the 4th quarter is always ALWAYS MBA's. Final Score: MBA- 30 Ryan- 17 Total MBA Rushing Yards: 385+
