Let's just work hard and take one thing at a time! No bragging, just prepare and take care of business on Friday nights.

Parents have always had things to say from little league on up in every town in the USA. I had to deal with it some when I coached youth league. I do not stand down in the corner of the field until the end of the game so I can have the players gatorade ready for them. I'm usually sitting with family and friends or pacing around up top. Can't help it! Our facilities aren't the best, nor are they the worst. I think it would be great to have a field house, but since we don't, the BB coaches should be made to let the boys use the gym. The new coach will not go 0-3, you can count on it! Seems like we have some people not wanting to see the program and the new coach be successful. SAD!

The new coach will have a good AD, experienced players and some coming up, fine facilities and a hard working booster club. So what kind of crap are you referring to?

Good win last night! Came out after half with a 16-2 run! Nice job underneath by Bond & Seamons! Reagan hit some nice shots! Tullahoma tonight @ Dalton Gym. They have some 3-point shooters that can light it up! Let's watch our turnovers and win another! The 1979 State Champion Lady Pioneers will be honored tonight!

Don't know what was said to the coaches, but the foul was called before buzzer went off which sends the WC player to the line and he hit the first one, which ended the game. Very exciting contest that was back and forth all game. WC had a 11 point lead with 4 minutes left. Point guard for CC is a heck of a player and fine young man!

Another article in the paper today said about the same thing the last two did, but didn't take up as much space! If Steve Matthews was in the final four you can take him out of the mix because he has been hired by Siegel as OC. As far as our search & hiring committee, I trust Todd, it's just the others that are probably dropping the ball!

They should show improvement! They have been playing pretty good competition. I just feel sorry for the seniors and juniors. More emphasis is being paid for 2 or 3 years down the road.

He was also invited to the FBU camp along with teammate Michael Thrower.

Thank you fbc98! It would be nice for players & parents to know this and this should be communicated with them if a player has potential. When I evaluate my employees each year, I tell them how they are doing, what's expected, company goals and what they need to do to get to the next level or pay level. It is my job and I owe this to them! Having a student athelete who has potential and not sharing info with them is unacceptable.

I owe you a big "Thank you" Lost Old Dad. My son will graduate in 2011 and we did not know that. He has a chance to play @ the next level probably a DII or III school and we haven't been informed of this. SAD!!

spotrssp, don't let Big Money get to you. First time the class of 2011 has lost to the Red Raiders since 7th grade. The sun shines on a dog's butt every now and then! As far as WC being down after next season, we will have to wait and see. There is some talent comming up, but the new coaching staff will have to get more players out and develop them. Go Pioneers!!!!

Any news? Also was wondering about Tommy Johnson being mentioned. Why would he be interested in coaching high school football in Tennessee with his experience? If he is willing to come here and coach, what are we waiting on?

Tough loss last night against CPA. Good luck tonight against Ensworth! Hopefully the team is learning alot playing teams like this. I just hope they don't get discouraged and keep their heads up!

Not a bad idea there hoop20. I think the reason that all county kids can play for the middle school in other sports such as baseball, football etc. is because they don't offer these programs. There has been some good basketball talent come from county schools that have been able to do well @ the high school and some have fell by the way side for some reason. There has also been some pretty good basketball coaches in the county schools over the years, but some that didn't do a good job teaching fundamentals as thorough97 posted. However, I have seen several middle school teams over the years do very well and win the CTC Championship and win alot of games as freshmen and play pretty much the same teams in high school like Tullahoma, Franklin Co. and Sparta and lose by a bunch. Don't know the answer, but I sure hope we can figure this thing out. Congrats to the Pioneers and coaches on the win last night in the tourney and good luck tonight against CPA!

bburch, hope ya'll had a good Christmas! Nobody is bragging, just stating facts "Pioneersports". Seems to be a little sour grapes with you and WC. Cody and other athletes @ WC deserve a little recognition every now and then. The boys and girls who stick it out and continue to hang in there should be respected. It would be easy for them to quit and run the roads after school or be @ the pool all summer instead of participating in sports.
