From what I heard last night on the radio, Volunteer had holes in their roof cause it was raining 3's on their floor with the girls and boys teams. The middle of the pack teams could change spots all the way up until the last game of the season, which should make for some good 3-6 and 45 matchups in BOTH Districts.

I was at the SH THS game on Friday and saw 1 ref who should never have been our there. He called a foul one time on a girl that was at the 3 point line and the ball was in the post and that was what the whistle blew for, the foul on the post which was a clean block to begin with. That goes back to the anticiapation of something happening and not what actually happens. I get that one team may foul more than othes but if the fouls are like high 20's to low 30's for one team and only 10 -15 for the other. SOmething is up especially if both teams are playing hard and aggressive.

Ladadad is always blowing smoke. Everyone knows he is full of _ _ _ _. If Farragut does come back to JC I hope they say within 23 since that was the margin of victory last year, oh and it was 18 or 16 the year before. So I guess that is what he is referenceing. I will go out on a limb and say Farragut will not even make it to substate. Bearden will lose in the district and beat Farragut in the region. You heard it hear first!!

Just saw where SH plays in KY this weekend? Anyone got any info on that? Also, If you were either team from Fridays game who should be more upset with the game? I would have to say SH since they have left some hope for teams now with "a close" game in this region. Congrats to DB as well. They really handled West a lot better than I thought. The Morresstte's really got things going. They might just be my sleeper pick to knock off someone in the tourney. I agree that we may have an all D1 semi final at ??? WHere is the region? If that is the case. Our league may just be better than we think.

What a good game last night at Viking hall. THS played the Best I have seen them play in three years. They may just pull a shocker sometime on SH if SH can't keep from turning the ball over. things seem to be locked up in the conference now with SH 1 and THS 2. What did you think about the game pancon? Anybody got some news on D2?

Well in our District it appears there is two teams with SH and THS that could make some noise in the post season. Seems like DB South Boone and Volunteer will shuffle spots till tourney time. I guess next Friday will be the best game of the regular season left for either team. I wonder if it will be closer than 20 since THS has not been able to keep pace the past couple of meetings. I thought DB would have given THS a better game too comming of the loss. They really had no answer for Mitchell with key players in trouble with fouls.

Interesting games tomorrow night with THS and DB then South and Volunteer. Then you have Jeff Co and Seymour

Looks like your district is wide open. What happened to Farragut dominating the district? Looks like Bearden did it again!

Watched a dominating performance tonight by SH they held Boone to 10 points at the half. I guess we were all wrong about Boone. They seemed better last year in conference play at this point. How did the other games go tonight? I did see where Seymour lost.

Why would you call it a big time win for Farragut? I read that riverdale won the tournament and so did Blackman. I guess Farragut didn't play with either of them which means their completion must have not been that good.

How are they different? I say credit the refs but they should never decide a game.

Their "recruiting" is limited to carter county. No one from SC would go to Betsy bit that is here nor there

Good games this week at Boone. Seymour looks beatable by anyone in the big 8. We will see tonight with Boone which is our leagues 4 5 or 6 seed. SH seems to be on a losing stretch dropping 2 of last 4. THS is in the finals and West is in the finals of the Greene Bank

Personally I think Dugger lies to cover up things that are wrong with his program. A true coach would call it as it is and not try to spin it around. Betsy will never win a title cause they will always stay in their comfort area. Also the UC coach is Kerri King she was their middle school coach.

Listened last night on the radio and it sounded bad. SH again had people struggle with the press. Looks like we have to get to work if we want to make a good showing in the biggest games. Hope these two play again in the finals. I think our girls will improve iam sure it was only the 2nd time all year all starters played together. DB and Mo West will be a tell tale game for the two districts. I think the best spot this year is # 2 and # 4 in dis. 1 and 1 and 3 in dis. 2 anything other than that is certain doom at the hands of the toppers.

If you put Davis on Riverdalenshe would get 15 a game like Middleton. Put Middleton on central and she scores 20 to 25. Toe ma toe tomato. One on one Davis would lose cause she can't shoot all that well. She can get to the basket but Middleton could get some stops and she is a better shooter.

Farragut is overrated as some other schools. Who won between Siegel and Smyrna?

As predicted , Grainger big over Seymour. Don't use the PG excuse cause she would not have made a big difference. Grainger was faster, and just better tonight.

Seymour is giong to lose this game. They will still finish 1 or 2 in their league. The goal is to be #1 after the tournament because Seymour does not want to see SH in the Region until the finals. SH has ended their season the past 3 yrs.

Grainier wins big and shows just how weak Seymour really is. Everyone talks about how good grainger is and Seymour struggles to beat the weak teams. They have not played a really good team all season.

Ok Memphis has not beat anybody good all season so this should not be a surprise. As for the Davis comment, she is not the best player in the state. That is Middleton. SH should loose as someone early stated for all the reasons they listed. I just hope my prediction is wrong bc wrong our end of the state gets no love from the state.

The Palace at Science Hill was a great HOT old building. The lighting was different and the teams were opposite of one another which caused visitors sub problems. It was a great home court advantage. Their new gym is very very nice but COLD. They need to get that HEAT working in there again to really make a miserable place for others to come.

Sounds like a rough place. Did they have peach basket hoops? After seeing SH last night I think the game will be closer than it would have been last week. I will say Riverdale by 15. But I sure hope I'm wrong.haha
