I know they lost a large group of seniors but how are the new kids stepping up and how have they looked in scrimmages/ 7 on 7's this year?

does dyersburg have a chance to make it all the way this year??????

dyersburg has loads of talent both on the line as in the skill popsitions they should be a tough opponent

this game isn't for anything but pride. I believe neither team will put their ace out there and dyersburg hit the ball very well today against crockett winning 19 to 2

I'm pretty sure Dyersburg will have a lot if not the most sure they lost a lot of seniors but i was there when they took bp and most of the varsity hit two or three a piece especially the Lyons kid he is stroking the ball with ease over the fence even a few of the jv kids hit one or two out i believe whitman and sanders went deep twice and a few others. so my predictions for homeruns is 40+

dyersburg high also has great traditions before every game they do the trojan walk and walk behind two boss hoss motor cycles to the feild all of the little trojans form a line for them to run out to and as soon as they run through the sign gold fireworks go off in the background.

i think that dyersburg has a few players to watch out for first at OT luke wilcox he is around 6"4 and he is a beast at RB i have xavier 'snook' taylor he rushed for over 1600 yards and 28 tuchdowns he is one of the fastest backs i've ever seen at any level at FB/LB i have tyler lyons he is a dual threat back that can run catch and block he has a great football mentality and isnt scared of anybody which is why he also doubles as a very good linebacker also at DE dyersburg has lee shultz he was 2nd on the team in tackles last year and he can only get better he has a good 6 foot frame and can tackle better than anybody i've seen

what about Dyersburg's Xavier (Snook) Taylor he rushed for over 1600 yards and 28 tuchdowns in 2008 and can only get better he was the region 7-3A offensive mvp. He will also have his entire offensive line back plus fulback tyler lyons to lead the way for him expect him to be huge in 2009

which schools have the best entrances?

first off nobody has been able to succesfully run the ball on this trojan defense this year and seeing that crockett hardly ever passes they won't have any luck against the trojan defense and offensively dyersburg has much improved with the addition of a new qb since haywood so it should shape up to be a great game im going dyersburg-17 crockett-0 the trojan deffense plays its best yet

ARE THEY THE BEST IN THE WEST?

dyersburg unlike haywood is continuing to get better they are never satisfied with themselves plus dyerburg has made a key addition in thier offense moving jason click to quarterback and having the rotation of lyons and taylor in the backfield if dyersburg plays haywood in the playoffs dyersburg will be much better than what they saw last time offensively deffensively dyersburg is starting to put things together they had a minor setback against boliver with the all state reciever but he is the best that they will face all year haywood has many starters goning both ways where dyersburg has only a few they will be in much better condition than the tomcats in other words two of the four representitives will be Dyersburg vs Lipscomb

I found out the midst of Trevor's injury he has a crack in his 4th vedebre and is in a neck brace for 6 to 8 weeks look for the trojans to win these games for thier brother

if Xavier "SNOOK" Taylor keeps his head on straight and gets his grades up we could be watching him on saturday plus remember this kids only a junior

Your right about that ive seen other schools workouts and none of them even compare to counces. They are constantly moving arounf there is absolutey no team that can compare to them in conditioning. They even have the motto [/size]NOBODY DOES WHAT WE DO.and that is exactly right which is exactly why i think dyersburg will win a dogfight im saying TROJANS 28/HAYWOOD 24 behind a TROJAN 4th quarter rally

everyone who ran the ball for dyersburg was successful friday night... if it is like that the rest of the year then the trojans will be alright

it all comes down to defense and thats were the trojans have the advantage.. dyersburg is stacked at linebackers

I think it will hurt them knowing that he is not on the field. not saying anything about lyons but BA has the heart of a lion and he will hate having to sit out. i think Lyons will step-up big this sophmore sensation has a great oppertunity to show everybody what he's got from what i hear he is undersized but he makes up for it in strength quickness and heart i look for him to have a huge game
