Established in the mid 1930's, Memorial Stadium was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps. It was originally operated independently as "Roosevelt Memorial Stadium." The stadium came under the jurisdiction of the Parks and Recreation Department in 1961 and consists of a 6-acre football stadium used primarily for Science Hill High School home football games. It was also used by langston high school and etsu.

When my son played this was the game everybody wanted. didn't matter what the records were. this was what it was all about . don't know what the indian faithfull think of this game, but to the topper fans, players, coaches. the hill could be 0 and 9 and a win over db would make it all worth while. but its been 16 yrs and that gives the edge to the indians.... GO TOPPERS....

my thought first of all. daniel boone played a great game. there athletes are a very fine coached team and your record proves it. there are coaching issues at the hill and i do not know what the future holds for smith and his coaching status but we have 3 games left and they need our support. and as far as the home crowd goes i guess when theres a chance of rain not many show up.

Have not heard of anything either but it would not be surprising to see something different added as SH does seem to try different formations and plays quite often and like most everything else some work, some don't. Looking forward to a good game Friday. I love the crowds and atmosphere compared to what we had to deal with playing in the Big East. Go Toppers last week the atmosphere was great. home side filled and even visitor side was full. i love the new alignment. GO TOPPERS!!!!

i haven't heard anything. but i wished the defense would try something different. should be a good game tommorrow. just hope we can protect the ball from your d and score a few. have had fun at work this week with my trailblazer co workers.

yes it looks like it but if we were to post a thread on here about who has been robbed on a bad call. the thread would be a record breaker. as i have said its time to move on .

hey chops! i said we MOVED the ball well not scored a bunch. as for allowed points hinced the word WEAK!!!!!!!!

we have moved the ball well all year, if we can do that against a awesome boone defense then we can keep it close. but thats all we can do our defense has been weak.

be interested if the toppers offense can move the ball against the boone defense. i work with a couple boone players parents so work talk should be interesting this week.

lets not live in the past boys alot of football yet to play..

kinda been the tale of two teams, sometimes they are fireing on all cylinders, other times they seem to be somewhere else alot of times the coaching staff make good decisions and the rest of the time they will never cease to amaze you with crazy play calling, got a good qb in soph justin snyder, two really good backs, a great list of recievers and a big offensive line. defense in week 0 was pretty good , last game at the stone castle they got ran over. the bye week was much needed to get sick players with the flu back. come on over to memorial stadium friday to see what should be an offensive battle. GO TOPPERS!!!!!!!

I hear that the last time the two met was in 79. the toppers came out with the final score 20 to 19. thats only what a friend of mine thought..

crockett on a 3 game win streak and science hill has lost the last 2, i understand the toppers have been bitten by the flu bug and injuries the last few weeks. hopefully the bye week has put some players back and ready for the homecoming game friday. sumo for crockett has had some big runs the last few weeks. should be a great game for probably the last homecoming game at memorial stadium.....

i am hopeing the hilltoppers who beat soddy daisy show up this week, last week the cyclones were on their game and are a very good team, but science hill just seemed to be somewhere else. i'm gonna go with the toppers in this one. sh 24 vol 10
