20 teams from Ga. Tn. Alabama attending and over 300 kids at last count for the tourney this weekend !!!!! Thanks to all the coaches for sending there wrestlers...

Gotta remind you guys that Cody Clevland was a state place finisher in D 1(Tullahoma) and D 2 (McCallie) and the guy that beat Jordan is a great Ref and soon to be Dad from the Steve Henry clan and has his pic up as a state champ in the round gym

Dateline Feb 23,2024 first state wrestling champ for the GPS Bruins and granddaughter of Harry Thorton wins girls state wresting title today @ 103 lbs PS I was a granpa 10 months ago harry but it is a boy wrestling one and 2 were my favs beside Mill mescares and the many masks Congrtas big guy

The good folks of Soddy had free hot dogs chili nachos and the best macaroni and cheese after there match That darn Dustin Stuart is such a good kid ... he stuck 3 things of nachos ,2 bowels of macaroni and cheese and 4 hot dogs in my sons wrestling bag telling him he was worried about him and to eat up as we were leaving the round gym tonight.

Looks like your timing is going to keep the three 8th graders from McCallie that are on varsity off your team and two of them were on the team last year. (ranked 3rd Tn high school DII ) Blake Henry 160 Satterfield 215 plus both on last years team. Ranked and finished 3rd @ Father Ryan this year Houston Clements 135( hurt last year ) How can you have a TEAM TN and leave those guys off ? Dont have a dog in this race but I would want these three talented guys on my team going out there !! All three will be wrestling @ TN states DII Mid Feb Hooker Duncan Watson were great additions to the team as 8th graders and state champs as well.
