  1. This is the most RIDICULOUS post I have read in a long time. Correct - you are a "has been". Hold up there, Scoot. If I'm not mistaken, the coaching staff would prefer that current players focus on their game...not talking smack or worrying about what is on Coach Ts. That being the case, OwlStMafia is backing what the players have already been told by the coaches and possibly trying to keep Unknown from getting himself into trouble. It's true that Unknown hasn't said the first thing out of the way, but rules are rules. Granted, Mafia could have worded it a little better, but the coaches know what they're doing and as fans, we should support them.
  2. Where's Glover when you need him? The paint job does look time consuming. If the felines could spend as much time with their hands on the ball as they can with their hands on a paint brush, they'd be alright.
  3. I hope you and the Mrs. will join the rest of the Owl faithful in celebrating the win at the Company Store Back Porch after. Of course, I hope the Gville faithful make it out too. We'll do our best not to rub it in too hard.
  4. As others have said, you have to give credit to the Gville fans, especially Croz, for the unrelenting hope and support for the Tiggers, and for stepping up for them on here. That's no easy task with this bunch at times, but I hope you realize it's all in fun. After this week I'll be pulling for Gville every time they take the field, but as for tonight.... GO GET 'EM OWLS!!!
  5. Maybe instead of getting your panties all in a bunch about our "backwoods" team of "bullies" you can find better ways to spend your free time...like maybe, oh... I don't know....Hooked On Phonics?
  6. I do, Imallin, but the first step is admitting it, right? As soon as I finish off this last doughnut I'll google self help programs. Think I should be a good neighbor and look for Charlie while I'm at it? I'm pretty sure I can find him a local support group for the "IWishIWasAnOwlItis", but as for the "Foot in Mouth Disease", I'm not sure there's much help available for that.
  7. How'd you know about my Krispy Creme habit? Guess my secret is out. How bout this, I'll work on getting my habit under control if you'll see somebody about controlling those flare ups. It looks like things are getting pretty serious, Charlie. You just put Gville in the same category as RBS and Jackson County.
  8. Scooter, that would be a Moose. Glover knows what he's doing. (*Shaking my head in disbelief that I actually just made that statement.*)
  9. Your so right there will be no surprises this year, the mighty owls will run roughshod over the tigers "and gloat", whoop up on cannon county " and brag ", shoot off some purty fireworks while tooting that horn (the one that marion county helped build ) and then when the playoffs start and its time to back all that bragging up ............. well...... at least the fireworks will be purty !!! Come on now, goodtimecharlie, no need to get ornary. You're simply suffering from an affliction that's fairly common around these parts. The technical term is "IWishIWasAnOwlItis". Symptoms include feeling green all of the time, phobias of fireworks and horns, and nightmares featuring night flying birds feasting on felines. (That last symptom tends to peak one week a year). Now don't panic, there is a cure. Simply put on some black and gold and find yourself a seat on the home side of the Hole on a Friday night. You'll feel better in no time. I should warn you though, sitting on the home side at your place this Friday night will only make it worse. Apparently the cause is repeated exposure to the L column at the hands of Smith County. That being the case, it's probably safe to forget everything I just said. In your case, it's probably already chronic.
  10. Looking forward to what I hope to be a good and injury free game, and a good look at Cheatham. There's nothing like the Hole on Friday nights. I hope the Cubs and their fans enjoy the experience, just not too much. GO GET 'EM OWLS!!!
  11. I'm looking forward to getting back to the Hole. I'm past ready for some Owl football. It's been a long wait. I can't say I know much about Cheatham County's program, so I'm looking forward to getting a look at them.
  12. Congrats Warriors on a well deserved win! Owls, it's been said already and more eloquently by some, but here's another Owl fan that is proud of you young men and this program. Watching this team mature and come together like you did as a young team was a joy,a privilege, and a heck of a ride. Seniors, you will be missed and made us all proud. Keep that hunger and drive in mind as you move on to bigger and better things in life. You may not have people in the stands cheering you on for the rest of it, but know we're all still rooting for you in everything you do. I enjoyed it myself, Imallin. We'll have to all get together for a few hands soon. QueenB, it was nice to see you again as well. The same goes for BigReid and Glover.
  13. You mean waterboys, right? /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  14. Queen wasn't talking about football in any small town she was talking about Smith County football. You'll see for yourself when you make it down to the Hole. Even with that attitude I don't see the Indians crawling out of it with a win. GO GET 'EM OWLS!
  15. Oops. I had forgotten my no arguing with idiots policy. Thanks for the glaring reminder. Back to the game.
  16. Yeah, you got me there. All the good names like yours were taken.
  17. Just when I thought Posty was a shoe in for most annoying on the Ts, this condescending fellow shows up.
  18. I'm going to have to be a radio fan tonight, but I look for this to be the week things start clicking and the Owls get back on track. GO GET 'EM OWLS!!
