Your point elsewhere about the position never graduating is key. Some of the CC fans apparently think younger players never develop -- that when you lose a particularly good class of seniors you're cooked. Not so fast. Aaron Sharp is the no. 23 you mentioned. He got the pick 6 against Gibbs. He is a very good player who was not on the radar screen last year and still is not on the CC fans' screen. But I guarantee you he is on Justin Price's radar screen, as are Tate Holmes, Bryson Phillips and Cale Brock. I think it will be a good game. CC will be well coached and will give AC all we want. But we should be able to limit their offense enough to allow ours to score enough points to get the win. And remember, at the end of the day, the day is done.

If you keep 8 or 9 in the box and don't let their no. 11 get the edge and you should be able to stop them.

That's a definite advantage for the super midget teams that can collect players from all over like you alluded to about kids all wanting to play together. I understand the kids wanting to play together for a winning program. Our middle school teams can only let kids who go to school there play football. We need to go back to super midgets in Anderson County so we can get more CC and Halls players lol!

Not recruiting I would say but Fulton has definitely benefited from AE's and to a lesser extent Central's demise. For what it's worth, I think Central will be on the upswing. They seem to have a good coach who will close the borders (as Clark Duncan phrased it last night on High School Heroes).

Well, you never know. Powell did look effective in the jamboree. I've heard about some of the off the field things like the coaches who were let go. That happened a while ago though so you would think it would have blown over by now. I think you might be too pessimistic on just 3 wins. Good luck this season except for the necessary other than against my Mavs.
