wouldn't state that ccchs has great basketball tradition. example: can only think of 1 time they ever played a substate game (correct me please if i'm wrong). useually get beat out in the first round of the region if they get out of districts (a couple of times they got beat out in 2nd round of region). i would state that ccchs has a good basketball tradition. example: in the past they have been district champs many times (in tourny, i can think of 3 or 4 times in a row once) they used to be a strong team in the district but not now.

Every school should have a chance to host a tourny when it comes their time.

this is where they go after that coach from campbell co. so for all you ccchs folks up there to our north be weary of loosing that coach like i mentioned to you so long ago during football season. it's been in the making for a long time can you say "DEFENSE"

my bad on the team played was just wanting to know who won, couldn't find the score that night saw it reported the following day

being that it's midnight and no score of cak/oneida on the scoreboard leads a person to believe that ?????. girls score was reported but not the boys. someone tell us who won!!!!!!!!!

tue feb. 1 at Clarkrange Fri Feb. 4 Oakdale D Tue Feb. 8 at Jellico Fri Feb. 11 at Harriman D should be 4 straight wins in this stretch leading into os game.

after reporting to the gym in hancock co. expecting to see a game, the other team who was supposed to be jellico never arrived. well then it was announced that jellico was waiting on hc in jellico. so both teams had the same dates reported as home games. now after going to the tssaa website and checking the schedules, both schedules had jan. 14 as home games for each team. so what happens next. i did notice that hc counted this game as a forfeit, i wonder what the contract dates of where the game was supposed to be played at and also wonder if this forfeit win for hc is official or not. someone in the know let's hear from you!!!! curious minds need food.

it's called a foul and that's why the shooter usually goes to the free throw line to shoot 2 unless the basket is made and then shoots 1

oneida wins this one going away, it's a confidence builder but yet decieving.

this has been the best thing for high school sports in tn. you get to check whats going on out west middle and east. you just have to be able to sift through the bull and truth.

has anyone thought of this reasoning yet (haven't noticed it in all the reading). to build a winning tradition a coach has to build confidence into the players for his system. so scheduling opponents that you can compete with and possibly win will build that trust between the players and coaches. as the players get more prepared for the tougher challenges then the scheduling of the tougher schools will take place.

and think of poor old jellico, they are at least an hour by bus north of knoxville on 75 and have to make the drive to cloudland and the quickest way is through knoxville.

now peeblee you know that coach's don't admit to anything until the deal is done, but it might not be him!!!!! cough!!!!

be careful there AE it could be your schools man going to a small college, i suggest you not try to guess and just watch.
