Two of Jackson SS top players could be in deep trouble. Doesn't look good but they may be able to play, up in the air right now.

Popeye has to be in the conversation for top 10. On a side note: his son is like a potential NHL hockey allstar, once he gets there of course, like what you would call a 5 star prospect. Some have pegged him as a future superstar at the NHL level.

UC is the class of this district once again. History has a way of repeating itself.

I'll stick with SS as the team most likely to go to state out of the district. Having said that Rudesill is not only the best coach in the state but one of the best HS coaches in the country. I mean Bolivar won the State with smoke and mirrors with Jay Murphy and Ricky Tisdale leading the way, they were far from overwhelming as far as just sheer talent that year. You can't game plan for Rudesill but you can against the players....Bolivar is always going to have a coaching advantage no matter who they play. Anybody counting SS out would be making a huge mistake. Does that mean that go to state, NO....but they have the most talent and the LARGEST margin for error and that counts for more than some might think.

Remember this name, Malik Hicks from Jackson SS. This kid has a chance to make some noise on the national scene starting next spring. A rising sophomore with a ton of upside. Go ahead and laugh but I think Jackson SS might be the favorite to win state this season. This team is loaded. Hid dad played at Ole Miss, Marcus Hicks from Jackson NS.

A consensus has been building all summer. This is what happens when you rip fools up on the circuit and burst on the scene out of nowhere....this is similar to what happened with Otto Porter from Sikeston, MO who went to Georgetown, except Otto didn't even play AAU and exploded out of nowhere based on the legend of Otto. Remember when Otto ripped up Casey Prather in Paris TN a couple years ago....that's what opened my eyes because Prather was a stud at the Highschool level. This list is long and probably is going to end up with UK and possibly NC Tarheels before done. Told you this kid is an advanced natural scorer well beyond his age, everybody is finding out....kid is tearing it up at the Best Buy event this weekend......he is the top player in his class for TN and I predict he will surpass King and JW3 but who knows.....he has a legitimate chance to rise as low as top 20 or even crack the top 10.

I think Hubbs is the top player in his class.

Moving on up.....Hubbs cracked the top 25, currently ranked number 24 in the country.

I'm going to go ahead and say Robert Hubbs is going to be the first McDonalds all american from West Tn (outside of Memphis) since Tony Delk.

oh well, wishful thinking on my behalf.....Like I said before the season started or somewhere around that time....Jackson SS was going to be really really good but was probably a year away....they have gotten better as the season progressed but WATCH OUT NEXT YEAR!
