Field position is something you'll have to battle with Hillsboro for all night. Their punter is AMAZING, and it seems like more often than not he kicks straight into the endzone to avoid return TDs. I think blocking punts will be key for good field position and a Rebs victory. I am really looking forward to seeing two high-quality teams battle it out. Question for HHS fans, is the punter a senior? If so, has he committed to play in college anywhere?

We've played the region schedule given to us and dominated. On the other hand it sounds like HHS has a great group of standout kids that've worked really hard this year. I??™ve found out a little bit about Fairley for those that are curious. Thus far this season they??™ve scored 381 points and given up 166. They returned 8 offensive starters as well as two other backups who had considerable playing time last year (according to the Commercial Appeal). They also have 7 defensive starters back this season. Our two common opponents are Kingsbury (HC W 48-7 vs Fairley W 27-22) and Liberty Tech (HC W 35-14 vs Fairley W 44-24). Rivals has Gilchrist listed as the 24th top dual-threat qb in the country. Toney has a profile on the site, but there is no info available on him (stats, schools that are trying to recruit him, etc). Devin Stark is not even listed on the site. I??™m not saying that they??™re not great qbs. I just wondered if anyone had more info on either one other than ???they??™re great players???? Anyone know who they??™re being recruited by?

99 % of the comments made by our fans are positive about our opponents. Heck, I think we stick up more for Brighton and Liberty than they do for themselves. Most of the people who have predicted an easy road are not from Henry County and don??™t know anything about us other than what they??™ve seen in the news. We have maybe four posters for every 200 (actually from HC) who think we will reach the state final uncontested. And that??™s their prerogative. I don??™t see how it??™s any of your business to tell them what to think. Every team has fans that are kind of like that drunken uncle at family gatherings. They may get on your nerves sometimes, but you still love them because they??™re family. And that??™s what the Big Red is all about. We are a family (and will take up for each other accordingly). We may not all know everything about football, but last time I checked that wasn??™t a requirement for being able to enjoy the game. GO BIG RED!!!!!!

I was curious /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> does anyone know how many points we've scored off of interceptions/fumbles so far this season?

A. We've also never had a HC team quite like this before that was so well-rounded on both sides of the ball. B. If I remember correctly, the original poster who referred to us as the ???U of HC??? was commenting on the atmosphere of our games (fan and community support, our incredibly talented band and director, tailgating, etc) and not to the abilities of said team. For every game and throughout every thread we have one fan who continuously predicts a running clock and beating the opposition by at least 40-50 points. While I agree he adds to the huge target that is on our Patriots??™ backs, nothing that any of us say is going to change him. Just hit the report button every post and mark your complaint as off-topic. We had this goofball who had tried this kind of mess on all of our threads since last year. He took it a little bit farther though by calling our players fat, stupid, etc. We finally reported him enough that the administrators got tired of dealing with it. I'm not sure if they deleted his account or what, but we haven't heard from him since.

All of you know that evey team has a few fans who start stuff like this. I agree we do have a very special group of guys this year, and I would love to see them go all the way. I do think we will be tested before the playoffs. Our last regular season game is Hardin Co. They're also a good team, and I don't think they're going to just lay down and let us run all over them...

I was at that game too. It was so cold that my friend and I left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. We were ahead and playing so well, I thought there was no way we could lose. By the time I got back to my dorm and turned on the news I realized we'd lost. I've heard that they look great this year. We don't get to see much from Memphis until the playoffs. Any chance one of their games will be televised? As to which team is the best in West TN...I think HC is def one of them (and at the top in 4A). We have a phenomenal group of players this year and a good shot of going all the way if they can stay focused.

Realistically how long should it take me to get to Martin leaving from around say Tecumseh? I don't get off until seven and am hoping not to miss too much of the first quarter...
