going to miss you Roy and Ole Pirate and you to geno.i have had posts deleted for just saying the kids did not deserve to be purnished as they have been by losing practices.the coaches are the only ones that should suffer from this.I understand the lawyer situation you spoke of CoachT i really do but how can they sue you or ME for saying THAT?Being that I am friends with one of if not the biggest Pirate Fan (David Wyatt) I do get a little too vocal at times at games and on here.I got on Grider last year when i shouldnt have at the Signal mountain game and it really bothered me.I have apoligized to him before this season started and hope there are no hard feelings.I believe He understands how we fans feel about our Pirates and hate to lose.i have enjoyed reading posts on here and how everyone has their own take on different subjects so hope yal come back for next football season.

I like the way Tim (coach Moore) has taken control of the team as a head coach should.Discipline is Key for Greatness.Players should learn this and use it to their advantage on the field.Roy is mad they made a player sit but it was the correct call.I wish Moore would have them to quit celebrating after touchdowns and big plays.Celebrate after the final whistle has been blown as a TEAM not as a individual after a single play.Just my thoughts

I think a team should AT LEAST have a winning record to make it to the playoffs.Its not for losers...To steal a sarcastic quote from Chipper Jones "I think they should just let every team into the playoffs"The TSSAA is clueless.....go back to only 3 classifications then all this crying about having to play all these teams classed above us because 1A teams will not schedule us will stop...it meant something back then for a school with under 200 kids in school to win in 1A back then.i am a Pirate fan but we would not be in the playoffs this year if it went back to 3 classes.our D or lack of it is glaring this year.

VERY TRUE....and we all may have seen a different outcome in this game had Grider not chosen to go for 2 in the 2nd quarter already up 20-13 kick the exta point go up 8.to me that was a very Bad call.that 1 point would have meant the world at the end if it had played out the same way it did from that point.then all we needed was an extra point to take the lead 56-55 with 4 minutes and change left in the game.who knows if signal would have scored again and even if they did if any time at all was left we still had a shot with our speed to break one more...JUST SAYING .... the Frame boy hasnt played football long but was a heck of a soccer player.he is pretty good for a freshman and we need to get away from going for 2 just for the heck of it.do it when it NEEDS to be done not in the 2nd quarter already up 7....hey and why not a fieldgoal sometimes on 4th and goal from the 5 instead of always going for it????Am i alone here or does anybody agree?

i am an old Pirate but i want to say congratulations to the WAYNE COUNTY WILDCATS on their STATE CHAMPIONSHIP win over our team.You are truly deserving of the GOLD BALL.yal played like a team that was determined to bring it home for your school and the fans...alot of our fans are still making excuses about this and that but believe you me they REALLY know inside that we were out played and out coached in this game.we had no answer for the Rice boy all game long...I was part of our 1st State Championship in 1969 so i know how it feels to bring home the 1st GOLD BALL for your school.wish yall all the luck in the world in your future.our team (to me) played as if they were supposed to just show up and take it home.so they got what they should have got for playing with that attitude..again my hat is off to your team and community on the Big win.WAYNE COUNTY 2011 CLASS 1A STATE CHAMPS....that has to sound and feel really good......
