Coach always does a great job and totally class program!!!

Give teams in their district the same recruits and see who plays for second place then. In basketball you don't need but a couple of top 50 players in the nation to win a state championship.

We all know how they recruit. AAU !!! The TSSAA needs to put a halt to this out of state recruiting. You are correct that once they get their program built up others will come just like other schools (private and public) have done.

I don't know Cory but do feel for him because everyone I have talked to says he is really a good guy. We all do make mistakes and if he is the man everyone says he is he will learn and become an even better coach. And hopefully this will send a strong message to others to do the right thing.

Warrior fan the thing that bothered me about your posts was that you tried to justify unethical behavior and then when you are called out for it you then wanted them to sue. Sounded like a rich kid who was going to find some way to get his way because he has money. Hope you don't teach your kids the only thing that matters is winning at all costs. I really don't believe you believe most of the things you said. Riverdale is not the only one to do this.

The thing that is funny about this throwing games is the TSSAA acting like this is a rare occurrence. I would say it happens at least once every year. There are TSSAA hall of fame coaches who have done this more than once. It really is time to make the 3rd place game an elimination game. The only reason it got any attention this time is because you had two win at all costs coaches.

Can't understand that either, how football can change in the middle of the 4 year period and all other sports have to unfairly compete. Makes no sense!

I am amazed at the national attention this story has received. PTI, Mike and Mike, USA Today, Fox News, and many others. If I were the principals I would be furious at the negative light their schools have been put under. I am glad the TSSAA finally made a decision that showed some guts.

NCAA is one and done but no #1 seed has ever lost. If you can't beat a lower seed then go home, you have a big advantage to start with.

I can't believe you just said that you wouldn't change a thing. So what are you people teaching your children? At least you have to suffer the consequences of your pathetic actions. If I were the principal the coach would be looking for another job. When ESPN carries a story like this it disgraces what use to be a reputable program. What was done is wrong and I am sorry the girls have adults telling them it was ok according to what you just said.

We need to just go to center court and have the two coaches flip a coin. Just agree beforehand we don't want to win and make a mockery of the game. Let all the fans pay their $6 to see this exciting coin toss and the T$$AA will still be happy as well. The two coaches can study the air currents in the gym and come up with the strategy on how to win this toss. WarriorFan can be there to give them their place trophy while the 4th place team celebrates their loss!
