If you feel a need to be to project guilt upon yourself....that is your right. However, do not attempt to make everyone believe as you do. I too am not a racist. Once again I will point out. When you scrimmage against "poorly" coached teams you do not get a "sound" look. This would include both defense and offense. How do you correct mistakes when the competition does not provide sound technique? I did not intend for this to turn into a debate......it was just my opinion. It is my understanding that our next scrimmage is against McGavok. I personally would prefer that we would have scrimmaged a Mid-State team, but once again this is just my thoughts.

First of all your assumption of my feelings for Aydelott are wrong. Since this pertains to football, all I was stating is that I would have liked to seen a different strategy. Now since you appear to be all knowing when it comes to football, I will point out to you that Warren Co. not only plays 5a football, but they were also in the playoffs last year. I don't believe Oakland was that fortunate. Now the last time I checked, McGavok, Hillwood, and Whites Creek all play 4a ball.

I am not worried about those Oakland coaches, I do believe their eligibility us up, but their players do concern me. It would appear from all that I have heard that Oakland players are getting better against good competition. I do know that McDaniel will have his squad ready, and I hope that the Warriors will remember who they are. Go Warriors.

When you play against teams who are poorly coached on technique, you get nothing out of it but bad habits. Scrimmages are used for the purpose of improving technique and execution, not for building confidence in beating your opponent. Any coach will tell you not to put much stock in the final score of a scrimmage.

Is this the same Hillwood who didn't win a game last year? The same Hillwood who plays in 4A? Oh yeah they difinitely looked good, perhaps this can help us against Antioch. We may even be able to win the NIL.

This has been a problem the last two years. Maybe Aydelott might want to coach the secondary? He has pretty good at preventing the pass on the RHS offense...ha! ha!

I agree the new unis are horrible. Riverdale colors are "cardinal and gold" not burgundy. I do like Oakland's new uniforms. Just a personal opinion but I prefer Nike over addidas.

Mr. Raikes has always supported the football program. You can attribute the rise to the top of the bulldogs to three things, Gray, Wilks, and most of all coach Robbins.

D-1 transfers? Are we talking about high school? I don't think anyone is saying that Aydelott is not a nice guy.

Let me dispell this statement. In 2005 Riverdale was eliminated from the Quarterfinals by Oak Ridge. They were not eliminated in the 3rd round nor the 2nd, and they definitely were not elminated by a team that they had beaten handley a few weeks back. Check your facts. Aydelott has had his head handed to him in both playoff games he has lost. This is not METRO!

I really don't know how to take this. Being a RHS supporter, where we have won many state championships, I think we understand that basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, softbal, etc. are all TEAM SPORTS. My point is I think someone may be putting too much pressure on a young lady who really hasn't doneanything at RHS yet. Allow us to get to know this player.

I resent this statement. How do you know that current RD girls just lost court time? Are you the one who will be assigning playing time? I don't think so. Until #20, and #11 produce in a game that counts(not summer camp), we don't know what way the chips will fall. Being a RHS supporter, I hope they are phenomenal, but keep in mind Riverdale has a gold ball in girls basketball, not just a District (11AAA) title.

I think that this statement is very true. Coach Robbins made a huge impact at Smyrna. Anyone know what he is doing now?
