i agree, Garce has been the dirtiest team I've ever seen. grace CHRISTIAN. They don't seem like it. I beleive Harriman is hungry for another shot at them. I dont like anything about Grace christian,but it is the playoffs,run what you brung,if you cant run with the big dogs stay on the porch and quit whining,who cares if its 70 to nothing at half time,you made the playoffs,play like big boys,leave the pacifiers at home,i would like to see harriman win,but this one will be ugly too.Grace wins by three scores!

That's the dumbest post ever. Come on even Greenback scored 42 on you guys and was whipping you until depth became a factor...and Sunbright is better than Greenback. You guys need to recruit better players because this season is over on Friday Dear shocker,you must be off your rocker,just ask Oneida who the better team is,no comparison between greenback and sunbright-even when were down,we play more football in one game than you all do in a year!Greenback was just flawless against grace for two quarters,caused alot of turnovers and ran right over them,that being said,the better team won,more depth,better qb,better coaching.Not taking nothing away from our boys,they laid it on the line.You cant even put sunbright and Greenback in the same sentence...Grace will win this because they have the better football team,recruited or not they would beat you with the JV team,you all are alot like oliver springs,look good against bad teams,play district 3 and get spanked.NO COMPARISON!I AM NO GRACE FAN.But face the reality over by half time.

Tellico plains is the better coached team period!ive seen both play,and if Tellico gets beat up front its because they did not show up,Tellico is a much more physical football team all the way around,i dont think they will blow them out thats not their style,ball control and a strong O-line,and a real physical D-line,control the clock,o'dell is the best back Greenback has seen all year.

This is the reason tellico will win,odell is a very good, smart, strong runner.Tellico plains line will whip oliver springs up front,much more physical line,seams to be coached well.

Well stated, "stated". Thanks for confirming the flu "excuse". Greenback is always tough, our district was down a little this year with the Cherokees and Midway having tough seasons. You can mark it down, this is going to be one of the toughest districts in the state to win in the future. Those guys will be back, and Tellico Plains is also a little down this year. TOUGH road ahead in the future. It was definatly a interesting game last night,we usually only carry about 30 to 35 kids,we only have about 225 total in high school,but we usually are a force on the gridiron,as for the district should be the toughest top to bottom(in the future).As for Tellico this was not a down year,this has been a good year for them, dont look for them to be much of a factor like midway,greenback,grace,harriman,rockwood,any year any one of these teams could be a powerhouse.First year coaching staff for us also,they havnt learned how to adjust at half time or mid game,hopefully that will change,at schools like this you have to learn to trust your bench and get the young kids ready,we definatly should have rotated some of the kids in and out on defense,but young coaches i hope learn from their mistakes also!Good luck to you all.

Hey urban,give greenback some credit they lined it up and ran it down your throat,our freshman #2 just put the ball on the ground to much tonight,but his effort was unbelievable,hes just a 14 year old kid.This aint gainsville, its greenback when you come down here you better have it strapped on tight,the flu, come on its getting old,and yes you have some sore kids cause they got hit tonight,give your boys credit they fought hard to get this win,but dont cheapen the game buy making excuses,we have 10 kids that go both ways,were not making excuses.

I know GP is Thursday. Any other dates confirmed? IBB ,i heard the roth kid is not playing this year,is this tru?if so,how will this affect the team?i believe he's 6'5 or 6'6.

confirmation;i posted earlier that williams and burdette will not be playing,both have changed their minds and are now playing,confirmed this morning,with that being said, runandgun i will agree with most of your top four,i think harriman has the most tallent,but they are not coached well,so #1 will be a toss up between grace and harriman,2 thru four looks pretty good, watch out for tellico we play them almost every year,i dont know what they have this year but they have been known to put some good players on the court.Greenback has the best player probably in the region, but how fast can the younger kids help,they also could be a top four team:i do not see midway in the top five. Yes BBF great run,poor tackling poor execution,poor coaching AGAIN,i've been watching Greenback football since late 70's,never have i seen such poorly coached kids can't tackle can't block,can't hold on to a football,coach Ryan where are you!Our QB cant throw,do we even practice fundamentals?Heard one dad say they practice in the Gym,WHY,if its calling for rain you do wet ball drills,We totally got out coached tonight don't put all the blame on the kids,take some of the blame coaches,this is three games you have given away,yes i am bitter,this is just an average tellico team,we definately have as much or more talent,Probably on the sidelines to hear the fans talk,this year is a total embarrassment!We need to stop the bleeding in the off season,i have seen the talent we have,we cannot let them ruin it!!!!!Not to take anything away from you tellico fans,great showing,you all came ready to play,and it showed.And to the Greenback fan who said that,i didn't hear it, but if you said it take your kid and go some where else,because we are supposed to play to win, not hurt young men on purpose,you are an embarrassment also!Don't think i am the only one who feels this way,we have to much tradition at this school to become a whipping post.where in the world did we find this coaching staff?This is Greenback you cant tell me they are the only ones who applied.Usaully you could give them a year or two,if they show improvement,this team has gotten worse since sweetwater,i wasnt at lookout valley but heard the same thing,we might as well call the other team and tell them where we are going to run the football every time.Matback where you there?Whats going on?i've seen five coaches,Bailey,Satterfield,Williams, one year had enough since to give it up,kilpatrick(surrounded himself with good assistants)by the way where is the old line coach? sure could use him,Ridge,never seen such confusion as this year!The good thing about Greenback is they are a community school and the community will not put up with this.I know i will get reamed by alot of you for this post but we have to much talent to be a three win team!

sorry matback just got back,well i'm going out on a limb on this one, i also think that the boys in black will keep the home win streak going for ONE MORE WEEK,that being said we cannot put the ball on the ground,from what i have heard we should have pulled the LV game out,again to many mistakes,but the home crowd loves the Kees,and they seem to play harder at home,funny thing is mat, is i'm seeing a pretty desicive win, maybe two scores!someone told me they had Dailey at DE friday night,dont know whats up with that,if we do that against the kids from the plains,IT WILL BE A LONG NIGHT!they can run the football.why put the best tackle in the region at DE,hes got to wear out them lineman!!!!!!!The playoffs are out of the question, now its time to play for the G on the helmet!!!!!!

kaz-have to totally agree TL is a great man,but also a good coach and role model for any of these young men,always been impressed by him,those who disrespect have never met him!

Ditto kid,not trying to be mean,the size of this kid is mammoth,i hope he does turn out to be a d-1 player,a free education is priceless,just asking the question why center,this kid should be making huge holes for cars to drive thru,this is where you start getting the experience,in college he wont be a center or even a guard,they dont even use him on defense,a kid that size in 2-a ball should be on both sides of the ball,and yes four more years and he might make a good ball player in college.every kid thats this size gets respect from d-1 schools,they wouldnt have a job unless they invited him to take a look at him.GOOD LUCK BIGGS!

Kaz have to agree.mr.biggs had a good write up in sentinel,curious what a big time school would want him for, seen him play on numerous occasions,why would you have a 6'7 330 pound kid a center?well he doesnt move well on the football field thats why,stands straight up,believe me not knocking him,he should be able to move better his stand straight up technique is terribly coached,this kid should be a stud in 2a or 6a.he doesnt look to be very well conditioned.he is big thats for sure!but whats big when you dont know how to use it,he should be a tackle and making mammoth holes for his team!

GCA is just the stronger team regardless of their weakness's,Gca wins this one real big to send a message for the playoffs,believe me not a grace fan at all!But what is,is what is,their loaded,Gca By 21 at least!GcA and South pitt are probably the two best in single A.Sorry devils but GCA takes the region.

yes they have played before 1986 playoffs,Greenback won,lost the next week to catholic 7-6.The follwing year the Kees took the state title!If greenback shows up with the offense they have had the past seven games look for lookout valley to win big on our mistakes,defense is respectable but offense is horrid at times,had midway tore apart then started putting the ball on the ground and in their defensive backs hands!midway should have never scored.And yes they can handle the speed,our defense gets to the ball fast.

matback,good to see a familiar name on hear,not many GB fans posting anymore.matback i heard the young guys had a scrimmage at seq,how did they do?Can some of those guys help a 2-4 team,we need to do something time is running out,i see some kids on the sideline that are fine looking athletes can they not help us?whats your opinion?I know this is gb and midway,but not much talk going on.i guess niether have much to talk about. skip, yes there is a few that can help now, but not a bunch. I will say this the future is bright for the nation on the gridiron. the next few years will be fun to watch. right now I think Williams and Miller should start to see more of the offensive side of the ball, with Miller possibly being the best pure athlete on the team. the kid is just a Winner and to me that is what you want at the QB position. Now before anyone berates me for this I know he is still learning the system and came out late but whatever IT is he has IT. Williams is just a big physical kid with good hands probably used best in the slot or wing as a possession receiver and the kid can finish. he flat out will pop you and it has been somewhat of a surprise to me having coached him in the youth leagues, I guess he finally bought into my theory of "its better to be the hitter than the hittee" lol. no he has always been a good athlete but he seems to have stepped it up a couple of notches. as for the future of GB football for the next few years we will be extremely physical and that is fun to watch. these young kids will knock your head and -$$ together. Now they still make some mistakes but they make them going 100 miles an hour. Also Tittlow, probably the single hardest worker on the team needs to see more snaps at the defensive end position. anyway skip there you have it "my opinion" for what its worth see ya Friday night. mat,thanks for the info,seen miller play last year has alot of potential,williams is a good looking kid no brainer he should be in there,seen tittlow play against sweetwater,that kids been in the weight room looks good.been out of town last couple of days,got to game late,we are going to have to change our offensive game plans,this offense does not fit our kids,to many opportunities to put ball on ground,i'm kind of frustrated with this coaching staff,their is no reason for us to be 3-4 at all.We have some good ball players(no chemistry)!we will have our hands full against lookout!

Looks lika a fairly even game to me.If anything ,Grace would be the favorite. I think RW should be the favorite. The TP game was a wake up call for RW (hopefully) they are alot better than they palyed that night I think they had the big head from the Kingston game . but it don't matter what we think it will be settled on the field. Believe me i will pull for the tigers,that being said i do think Grace wins by at least two scores.sorry tiger fans,but i dont think anyone really understands how loaded these rams are.I think as of right now,the only loss they will get in single a,will be south pitt.

Well Mr.Warhorse i believe you answered your own question who can they beat?The only team they will beat is THEMSELVES,your right need to find a center who can play center,that position has been bad since game one.the kingston game spoke for itself.

This couldnt have come at worst time for L.c.,after losing like they did to a inferior team in kingston and catholic coming off a loss,this could spell doom for the panthers,they will need to keep hall from getting hurt in the first half,then catholic should have their second and third teamers in and L.c. should be able to get a little scrimmage work in,they need all the work they can get at this point,the confidence of this team is shot right now.I just hope catholic doesnt embarrass them,this to is a young team.their schedule is scary.most of the toughest teams in the state!

If it comes down to the fourth quarter i would definately take GB,the one positive is they are well conditioned and like most GB teams of past they dont quit,if the coaches let them play they can win this game,these are not the teams of past just yet,but most single A schools go thru this,the young kids on GB lead this team,when and if they come together before its to late they can make some noise...i'll take the Kee's.

orr,harriman is not impressive at all,really thought they would be tougher their kids are not well conditioned and are poorly coached,lot of tallent.inman very nice player if he gets hurt harriman is in lots of trouble,heard someone say #51 is D-1 prospect-NOT even close.We have the majority of our players 15 yr old and under and in the second half they wore harriman out,and by the way we were poorly coached also,you dont direct snap with 3 mins left in your own territory with the lead,youve given up 15 yrds of offense in second half,punt and play defense,come on,if im wrong about harriman, then our young team is coming around.This is a game we needed to win!PROTECT THE FOOTBALL!I hope our coaches learned a few things from this loss.Harriman has a lot of potential but like last year the coaching is killing them!
