This kid is a pretty good hitter but he can be outsmarted and overpowered a bit he was late on me when i was only throwin around 83 early in the year. He isn't quite as scary as a tyree jeffries but in time he could be pretty good. He only has 16 extra base hits? that surprises me he obviously has power-that should include a few in some gaps..but i guess those just have to fall..good luck to him tho and good luck to the indians

Lexington has around 30..3 or 4 with over 5...one is a freshman

Well obviously i have to say Lexington on top and Bolivar is playing well in district play also. that's my 1 and 2 but chester county could sneak up on somebody and squeeze in somewhere as could southside if they can get somethings together. Their only problem that i saw yesterday was that they just looked young all around...with a little confidence they could be dangerous.

The topic is the best pitcher in the state...nobody said anything about a STAFF there are plenty of excellent STAFFS around but pitchers like sonny and gant are by far a couple of the best pitchers in the state. In a game if you have to use your entire staff to be good then that's not too great. These guys can beat any pitcher they like one on one....and probably go ahead and take on that staff and beat them too.

Yea Russ is a beast he hit his 5th with a grand slam. BIG BIG FUTURE

Gant is probably the smartest pitcher I've seen around West Tenn..not overwhelming gas but impressive and great junk..more importantly he knows when to throw it..sonny gray is obviously extremely good too

Ha and the only challenge I want with Dale is a race! He thinks he's faster! Any parents from Lexington that's reading this know that I'm not going to take anybody's spots I'm filling in in positions where nobody plays. I want to win and help. I've only been here for a month and I already love these guys, they are a great family.

Dale's a great player and anybody that thinks otherwise is just ignorant. Dale's got a huge bat and is a great centerfielder. Whoever you are you really don't know what you're talkin about...I'm not gonna take anybody's spot...especially not a very good starting senior like Dale.. I'm gonna help out the team wherever they need me which at the moment is looking like 3rd base and probably some work in LEFT or RIGHT FIELD. I'm extremely offended that you would take a shot at one of my teammates especially one of the caliber that Dale is.

you can't possibly say that you're the best in 1A i know you and have watched you...you still need to develop a little more.. this year won't be your's but maybe next. as for the best I don't really know but good luck to them and i do think blake taylor is a pretty good athlete

gant will have amonster season but i don't know if they'll be as strong as previous years..they have some young guys playing but they could still be a team to watch. but i look for them in 1 or 2 more years before they're back to being that scary. it's hard to lose a Liles.

I think i've come off wrong. There have been too many posts already about how i'm cocky. I do apologize, that is not me and anyone that knows me will tell you i'm not a cocky brat like i've come off. I'm sorry for how i portrayed myself i was just excited to be with these guys on a great team. good luck to all
