Cordova also had one of the best 3-pt shooters to come out of Memphis at that time as well in Drew Barham who is now playing with Memphis (I believe). I haven't seen Cordova this year, but I have heard some things about AJ Cunningham... terop is right those are the same things I have heard about him... the people I have talked to about Cordova mentioned him and said that he reminds them alot of Casey Prather. Craigmont is a tough team. Terrance Durham is a very solid guard!!! Don't know much about the other teams in 14AAA.

I agree with your points, except for these 2... "Northside starters would be much smaller than 6'1 & Prather is really a sf but plays c for Northside" Casey doesn't play C for Northside if you were to classify his position for Northside it would be the SF. Sometimes runs the offense for others like a PG, sometimes will post up like a C, but most of the time he plays the SF position. And here is Northside's starters and height: Prather 6'6 Long 6'2 Musgrave 6'0 M. Tomlin 6'7 Black 5'6... only 2 starters are under 6'1 and they have bench players Echols 6'1 Hurt 6'2 Arnold 6'4 O. Johnson 6'4 Z. Johnson 5'10 Flagg 5'8 Hendrix 6'0 McCuller 5'8 Mercer 6'3 D. Tomlin 5'3... They don't have some of the size as some times but they aren't that small either without Prather. But I agree without Casey on Northside and Joe on White Station, those teams wouldn't be where they are today.

Why should Glover win it?? He is good and will probably get one before he graduates, but definately should not win it this year. Lyles and Tarwater are both more deserving. Haven't seen Tarwater... Lyles is a good player and is more than deserving of the award, but I like John Ross Glover's game! It is just unbelievable for a sophomore! Thats my reasoning! Everyone knows this award has become a JOKE over the past 2 years I know of! How does Joe Jackson not win AAA last season?????? How does Chris Crawford get left off this season????? Dyer County will host Bolton! Bolton lost to Raliegh Egypt by the score of 69-63. DCfan74, I would have to disagree with you. Bolton has a good team. That Raliegh Egypt game explains that. It will be a tough fought game no doubt about it. Bolton is not your normal #4 seed! They may look weak on the stats, but who were they playing these games against! They play a tough schedule! The reason you are having trouble getting the information on the match-ups is because 14AAA hasn't finished yet. They finish play tonight, I believe.

Dyer County won from what I heard... had to work so didn't get to make it out to the game not sure the score though. I have an idea of who won the Northside game, but I not 100% sure on it.

Perry Powell was an amazing player. Was a do it all on the court! Take you to the hole and dunk on you or step back and shoot that sweet jump shot.

Thats what I thought... great format thats an easy way to figure out who is the absolute best, but it does leave room for mistakes as well.

How exactly are you thinking of making that work? what i mean by that is: are you talking about taking out sub-state and playing 2 from each region or keeping sub-state and making it #4 from say Region 8 vs. #1 from Region 7 & #3 from Region 7 vs. #2 from Region 8 (you get the picture) and the winners of those games go on to play at state?

I agree! Northside is a good team and should be ranked, but rankings don't mean squat! I don't put emphasis on rankings, but I will disagree with rankings all day long. In AAA, Bearden hasn't played anyone and to be honest Dyer County has only played 2 tough teams and is 1-2 in those games! The only thing that matters now is to bring it to the court during tournament time!

No, its not right! Humboldt has gotten beat by Middleton already this season. Middleton hasn't lost in Single A play all season.

After being off 12 days, Dyer County came out FLAT in the first quarter only scoring 7 pts. it wasn't defense from the Trojans cause they were getting shots but couldn't get them to drop. But once DC found their stride, DC jumped on Dyersburg. And Dyersburg kept fighting and fighting. The free throw shooting was HORRIFIC!!!! It could have cost DC the game, but the defense made up for it this time. Unofficial Stats.
