Who are Polks All State Linebackers ?

Congratulations to Polk and McMinn Central. Glad both teams from our District won their region games. I think both Teams shocked the Chattanooga Teams. Region Championship will be a tough for both. Going with Polk due to the fact they are swinging the bats very well right now.

Everyday we live our lives here in America, not worrying about the freedom we take so much for granted. I hope this family feels the arms of God around them to ease this pain. This young man was providing comfort for us, as all our servicemen and women do, let us be forever grateful. Prayers from Polk County.

Polk did have some guys missing, starting quarterback, starting tailback, starting middle linebacker, and safety. This would have certainly helped Polk but Tyner Rams are loaded this year. Looks like it will be a great season for them. Ya,ll Come back, enjoyed having ya.

Polk beat a team from Illinois this afternoon. Not sure about the score. Have heard that Jared Allen and Michael Hargrove have been hitting the ball well all season. Tonight Allen had 2 homeruns and Hargrove had Grand Slam. Go POLK!

I know that our team has played well all season. I watched #38 get double teamed all night long and still made plays. I watched #12 get hit and still move and break tackles to try to create something. I personally think they give the most effort of the players out there. Not to say the others are not good players. But #12 & #38 want the resposiblities and they carry it well.

I would just like to say congratulations to Loudon on their win. I couln't help but notice that #38 Michael Hargrove and #12 Jared Allen played with all their heart tonight. They never quit on any play! The radio station just kept on bragging on both of them. I am so glad they have another year. The rest of the wildcats our great too, and to the seniors you are all going to be missed. Good Luck to Loudon next week.

I guess we should assume you're not worried about Loudon in the second round if they should win? You should not assume any such thing. I think in the playoffs every team is worthy of preparation. I think the Polk team will be very focused, and I know the coaches will see to that. Go Wildcats!!!!

We are beatable but remember Terrell did not play in that game and everybody knows that our offense goes through him cause he can run it or throw it and has made good decesions this year Hey Pirate players, read here what your own fans really think. You don't count.....only Terrell does. This is terrible. I am a huge POLK fan. I don't think this fan was saying the others players don't count. Lets remember that these are teenage young men who fight it out every week. Some players on Polks team are more athletic and physical, but it takes every player out there to play the game. Sorry about this Pirate players, can't wait to see the game Friday. Go POLK.

All of these are very good players but the question is best in East Tennessee not all district. The DE and RB at Alcoa are in a league of their own compared to these six. I believe some of the players have received more than all district honors. I judge how their team would be without them. Their teams would not have the same success if these players didn't participate in football. I have not seen every team in East TN so I am sure there are other players in that catergory.

u really think Zach Rayl is the best quarterback in east tennessee??? I think Zach is one of the top qb. He doesn't have much of an offensive line this year. Just an opnion.

Congratulations to the WILDCATS! To watch our team every week play with the heart and discipline is a great testimony to our young men and the great coaches surrounding them. I know we all get caught up in the wins, losses and kidding with our friends from central (and we all have some good friends from central), but my mind can't help to go back to the family , team and community that lost their son two weeks ago in knoxville. I thank God our teams left there last night with our boys with no serious injuries. Hats off to the wildcats and their coaching staff! I love the heart of #38 and #12 and the rest of the wildcats!! It should be a great year for Polk! Lets stay focused boys, I'm sure the coaches will take care of that. GO POLK!!!!!

I think everyones waiting till after the scrimmage Friday. I Look for this team to be very competitive. Most Defensive starters are returning, and the sophmores that played last year have a year under their belt. Should be a great season! Go Wildcats

Central and Polk had more wins during the regular season. They won when it counted. Everyone has a chance come tournament time because of the improvement during the season and injuries(hopefully no team has an injury). If you are unhappy about the tournament take it up with your coach and do something about it next year. Good Luck to all the teams.

I think you will see a more mature QB this year. He will have a year's experience. He was only a sophmore last year, and I think all the sophmores that had key roles last year will come out ready to play.

I think Polk lost a few seniors, but had young aggressive players in key roles last year. I know of several sophmores who led the team in offense and defense in several games. The team also had some great juniors. I look for this team to be very focused and ready to compete at any level. I wouldn't predict a butt whoopin just yet. Can't wait till football season, should be a great season. GO POLK!

Congrats to the Chiefs. Let's remember Polk is VERY young. Pitching definitely has to improve. I believe that this team may take some time to figure out what everyone's role is, but I think they will.

I think Jared Allen is our top pitcher. I thought the pitching was really decent for both teams. I thought the umpire restricted both teams on the corners. That is very difficult for pitchers early in the season. I thought your pitchers were around the plate all afternoon. I think our pitchers did well. I know first game for both, but it is so important to try to get ahead in the pitch count for pitchers. I'm sure that will improve for both as season gets going.

It was a great opening day. Congratulations to Polk. Great to start off the season with a win. Polk had some really good hits. Looking forward to Tuesday.
