  1. Tyler Phillips will return to the line up this afternoon. He is 100%. He is ready to play.
  2. Might have been a fluke but we did what we needed to do to get there and while there lost both of our games by 1 run a piece. It doesn't matter how you start it only matters what you are doing in May and fact of the matter is that last May we out played everyone in our region.
  3. Very disappointing senior year for him, not finishing football and now not getting to finish behind the plate. At the end of the season last year he throwing out 70% of the guys stealing at 2nd base and this year probably would have probably been higher. He was finally beginning to excel behind the plate. He has a long way to go to get his bat back up to speed but he is ready to hit it head on and is also looking forward to playing college ball next year.
  4. You are correct in saying that Tyler Phillips is recovering from a knee injury, but he is recovering quickly and is ahead of what is expected. He will return around spring break but not resume his catching duties this year. Gage Winton will do a great job filling in that spot. Tyler will be attending Covenant in the fall and will be able to resume his catching duties then for the Scots. Tyler will be on the field for the Lions somewhere, probably 1 st base.
  5. I think the Giles fans was telling them it wouldn't even be close, sounds like EH had chances to win the game and that is even without their starting running back. Outcome probably would have been different if would have been playing.
  6. Chattacane...I hope he is alright and is able to play this week, I don't wish that on any player I am going through a bad knee injury with one at home right now. If he is not able to play I know EH has two more that can step up and play, they may not have the size but both can run like deer and with EH size on the OL they will open some holes to run through. Wish I could be there this week and see the game should be a good one.
  7. I don't know but it would be nice to see him there to watch former teammates. If he does I will have to tell him to come see you.
  8. We can not give up two quick touchdowns like we have against Brainerd and Howard the last two weeks. Luckily we did not panic and made the adjustments we needed to make to win those games. Our boys need to be prepared to play because EH is not those other two teams and will keep the pressure on the entire game. If our defense comes to play and O can mix it up and run and pass effectively then we have a chance to be in at the end of the game. If we don't come ready to play from the start, like the last two weeks, the second half may be mercy rule the entire half. I know alot of our seniors know several EH players and look forward to this game, they want to keep the winning going. Chattacane where will you sit since you won't have your golf cart available?
  9. Tyler Phillips is out for the season due to an ACL injury and surgery is required. The paper was mistaken he was not suspended for the game another player was due to a fight during the Brainerd game. Believe me I wish he was just out for one game and not for the season since he is a senior. We look forward to the game this week it is always a spirited game whether it is football or baseball. We know several kids that play for EH and enjoy playing them. We will have to play one of our best games of the year because EH has the team to go a long ways this year.
  10. This class of 2013 is very special and have some very talented boys. Most of them have been together since middle school and several have been together since they were playing "Y" football. Boys keep your heads up and you can still do something special this season, the parents believe in you even though everyone does not believe in this years seniors, at one time you were the future of this team and now it is YOUR team make the best of it. mfceo is just jealous that he does not have the talent to play or at one time was on the team and did not get to play. Believe in yourselves you can still make this a special season to remember.
  11. our team is the greatest...and we would mercy rule your second rate team.just wait, you'll see...THEN, you'll love the eagles as much as everybody else does. ~ waterboy96 ~........................ Need a tissue?
  12. WOW!!! Mercy rule is in effect. How does it feel Signal? Doesn't feel as good when you are on the receiving end of it.
  13. Hate to disappoint you, but Red Bank was not the one that took a beating. Total game time about 1/2 and Red Bank won 19-0......with most of JV in on last 2 possessions.
  14. You can replace Notre Dame and East Hamilton with Red Bank. Nobody gave us a chance after our last three weeks of regular season going into District but these boys found a way to come together and get it done. Most of them have been playing together since they were 7 years old and were determined to get the job done. I have been around ball all of my life and have never seen anything like the last 4 games. They were behind late in the game in every game and found a way not to give up and were able to comeback then hang on for the win, in the District Championship game we were down by three in the top of the 7th and somehow put 10 on the scoreboard in that inning alone. This is the first in Red Bank Baseball history that they have made it to the state. I am so proud of these boys and what they have accomplished...Keep it going in the "Boro". We will all be there cheering for everyone of you.
  15. Red Bank's zone at one time did extend into downtown however a few years ago they rezoned and those students were rezoned to Howard. I think this years seniors were in that group that lived in that area and were zoned to attend Red Bank, most of them have attended RB since their freshmen year. After the rezone the line now stops at the river and extends further north than originally. The last couple of years Red Bank has been listed as a failing school because of graduation rates and therefore we do not receive students through NCLB, we have actually lost several students through NCLB. I think the bigger issue is the hardships that Hamilton county has approved and making sure that peiple live in the proper zone. I know several that live in Red Bank and attend other schools outside of the zone and only attend the other schools because they have lied about their address. If this was enforced more then I think that would solve alot of the issues. P.S. It is my understanding that a new football coach has been picked so it should come out in the next couple of days.
