  1. You guys over at White-House Heritage do no tknow sugar about football! you're too busy living your city lives, while we're over here at Casacde working hard every single day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We know the definition of hard work here at Cascade!! We learned almost all we know from the greatest baseball coach ever, Coach Parker! That's why we're the Champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  2. CHS 2007, I believe it's called the Music City MIRACLE, not the Music City minute. But, to answer what you said in one of your other posts, I definitely give credibility to Centennial for exceeding expectations. Before this season, nobody thought CHS was going to be anywhere decent, but you've proved those people wrong. Congratulations, would you like a plaque that says, "Exceeded Expectations"? While you're at it, give the Page Patriots the same award, for beating you. When it comes down to it, nothing matters (except in your own head) if you exceeded expectations. What matters is if you go far in the playoffs, which you won't because Franklin will beat you on Friday, then you'll probably lay an egg in the playoffs. I'm done.
  3. ambiguousrock, You are losing credibility everytime you open your mouth. Yes, the Centennial Cougars are 7-2 (which is surprising, considering the history of the football team), but who have they played and beat?????????? As I see it, Centennial has one quality win, against Ravenwood, which is questionable because Ravenwood is so inconsistent. Other than that win, they have not beat anybody who is good. Independence, not this year. Siegel, not really. Dickson Co, Columbia, Clarskville, Glencliff, I think not. They also lost to PAGE, which speaks for itself. Add on an opening night 21 point loss to Brentwood. So, Centennial has played poor competition all year and is lucky to be 7-2.
  4. To all you Centennial fans who think your defense is anywhere near decent, here's some stats for you.... Dickson County- 41 points allowed Ravenwood-28 points allowed Columbia-26 points allowed Independence-28 points allowed PAGE-28 points allowed Brentwood-28 points allowed The only time you gave up less than 20 points was to GLENCLIFF AND CLARSKVILLE! That is awful! Franklin's D has given up only 13 points on average to these teams (and I didn't count PAGE because they are just plain terrible) CENTENNIAL'S D IS AWFUL, AND FRANKLIN WILL RUN AND PASS ALL OVER THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Kingz615, I've got a couple questions for you. 1.) Since when is a team considered "back" when they are 2-3, and won only one game after a total beatdown of 27-0? And even further, Ravenwood won their two games by a combined total of 4 POINTS, compared to losing by a combined 37 POINTS! But you're right, Ravenwood is back! 2.) WHy wouldn't we want to put the ball in Graham Nichols' hands? He has been one of the best and most consistent QB's in the region, if not the state! I hope they put it in his hands, so he can throw touchdown after touchdown to Starnes and Eaton, much like what he did in the Ravenwood game. 3.) So, if you mean what you said in the last paragraph, if we beat Brentwood (and we will), then we will lose to the Centennial Cougars?! That's hilarious! 4.) This isn't a question , but YOU ARE AN IDIOT!
  6. grude probably throws about 85-87 consistently, and can be very good when he spots his pitches, and has just one of his secondary pitches working well. Should be a good matchup of two very solid pitchers
  7. it looks like its going to be cotham vs. grude in a battle of lipscomb-bound pitchers. Who will come out on top?
  8. what happened between brentwood/ravenwood, and independence/overton? i think i can guess what happened in the centennial/hillsboro and franklin/hillwood games.
  9. how long are farragut's fences? four people hit home runs in one game? either farragut hitters are amazing or farragut has a field with little league dimensions.
  10. Is Blackman all it is hyped up to be this year? It seems to me that they haven't been a contender since the David Price days, are they a solid team?
  11. It's going to come down to centennial and franklin. Unless either team slips up in other district games, the winner of the Centennial-Franklin game at Centennial (whenever they rescheduled it for) will win the district. Both teams are playing outstanding baseball right now, and they are definitely on a different level than brentwood, ravenwood, and the rest of 11AAA
  12. After a close game earlier in the year, can centennial beat the rebels at home?
  13. I totally agree. There is no dominant team, and it really all depends on how a certain team is playing on a certain day.
  14. I saw a coach put at least a gallon of gasoline all over the field after they scooped up the standing water and light it on fire. I don't know how good it worked, but it looked cool
  15. I think Franklin has got to be the favorite yet again this year. They have two of the better players in all of middle TN and their pitching is doing the job so far. Other than FHS, I think Centennial and Brentwood will be battling it out for second, and possibly Ravenwood.
  16. I agree, Overton is a young team, and it shows. They are not the same team that has advanced far into the district and region in the past few years. I haven't seen Christian Brothers play, I don't doubt that they are good, but I think this win doesn't mean as much as some people think it does.
  17. I don't see how Franklin can't be considered in the top few middle TN teams. They only have one loss in the state of TN (two to Florida teams apparently) and they are undefeated in a tough 11 AAA district so far. I saw them play vs. Brentwood the other night and they weren't hitting well at all (out of the ordinary for this team) but they somehow found a way to win.
