  1. Really enjoyed reading back through this thread today. Many had some great predictions. However this post above, is still my favorite. Pretty sure that Grainger and GP made it out of Regions 1 and 2. Maybe that Grainger win at GP wasn’t so bad after all. Also a good thing that Grainger was very talented and didn’t run into any well coached teams come tournament time. (Laying on the sarcasm here, there are many well coaches teams in East TN) Regardless of our opinions, March matters but it’s always fun to play that guessing game all season long. Really hate it that the girls didn’t get to finish their state tournament. 4 great teams remained. Hope to get back to normal soon. Next year should be fun once again!
  2. I sure do love this response because it's from someone in the know! Grainger is a poorly coached team! Good thing they have talent. I fully expect South Greene to win their district. Could be a cake walk. East TN AA is wide open much like it was last season. Elizabethton and Sullivan Central return the majority of their teams and will be a force come tournament time. They both could beat anyone anywhere. Both teams are very talented and well coached! Elizabethton's recorded might not be flashy right now but their schedule has been more than tough to start the season. I also like to see GP mentioned in this response. (Good thing a road win at GP isn't considered a quality win! Now that cracks me up!) GP has a team capable of beating anyone. Pigeon Forge is also a tough match up for anyone. Alcoa and Northview are tough and will have a ton to say about who goes to the state tournament in AA. Good thing it's only December and the sectionals aren't decided in some online forum. Luckily for everyone all of it will be decided on the court!
  3. I guess Grainger wasn't tired from playing Farragut that morning? Pretty sure that was Meigs first game of the day and Grainger's 2nd. I believe that had a little to do with how that game went early. However, Meigs Co. is a really good team! They play extremely hard on both ends of the floor. When it's all said and done they will have plenty to say who plays in the state tournament, would not be surprised to see them there. Plus it's November! Come February no one will remember November.
  4. Why do 4 teams get to advance anyway? It's should be the top 2 finishers in each district.
  5. I understand Bama. You guys have a great team. Ended up being a decent game in the end.
  6. I thought this was a Grainger vs Greeneville thread? (but as usual everything reverts back to talking about Elizabethton) Regardless who wins this game neither can beat Elizabethton but I would expect a 4 quarter basketball game.

  13. I'll take the Grizzles in this one. I mean after all this is still West Greene we are talking about. THey have been about 3 touchdowns better than the Grizzles the last two years and are a mere one and one against them. Last years game was a pretty close ball game right up until the end. The Grizzles are much improved this season and I'll take them to win 28-21.
  14. South Greene is a very solid baseball team. They will have a say in who wins the districit tournament. It would not suprise me at all if they win it. They have some very solid pitchers and a deadly top of the order. Grainger and South Greene played to good baseball games. They could of went either way.
  15. Nothing I say is a lie so shut up and stop acting all hard on coach t ill bring you down a level. Unless you are a member of the Grainger High football team or the Grainger High football staff then you do not know what you are talking about. It would all he hearsay. I was not tring to act all hard on coacht just stating the facts (shut up? bring me down a level? Look in the mirror). This is not a forum to bash people nor post things that you know nothing about. I'm sure the Grainger staff is not without their flaws but there is no need to throw fuel to the fire. As for you bring me down a level I will not even dignify that with a response. Get real. Have a little class about yourself.
