  1. West Greene has graduated two very senior heavy teams the past two years. I think all together we've graduated 30 in 2 years. Thats not a lot for a big team like Greeneville who can just reload, but it hurts a team like WG who doesnt have the athletes right now to do that. Our pass defense was bad this year, i gotta bad feeling its gonna be worse this year. With Rhinehart, Gregory, and some young guys stepping up our offense won't be as good, but we'll score some points. The biggest loss for CD was Juice, the kid was a hoss. As for the rest, we'll see come next year
  2. Metcalf is hurt, not sure how he got hurt, but he's out. The sloppy conditions play in favor of the buffs because we are a 1 dimensional team, but if it aint broke, dont fix it. The rest of WG's defense HAS to step up tonight against a fast athletic team like AE. If WG plays a flawless game, and has a few things go their way, they can pull this off and get Coach Case that first playoff win
  3. [/quote just wondering is west greene at 100% ?? there is talk around that there has been a key injury on the rang . is there any truth to this ?? Ive not heard anything about an injury, case wouldnt have any major players getting contact this week.
  4. Does AE have any injuries that may have an effect on the game?
  5. Sullivan North has the lowest ranked strength of schedule according to Coacht. I hope all 5 schools can make the second round and maybe even a greene county rematch between Sg and Cd. Good luck to all teams and go buffs!
  6. Greeneville will cruise through the playoffs until the quarters and maybe even semifinals. Go Devils and bring back another gold ball
  7. Thanks Barb. And our qb didn't tear his acl so were not trying to put in a whole new offense in 2 weeks.
  8. i honestly think if West Greene comes out fired up and plays like they did against Greeneville for the first quarter all 4 quarters, they can win this one.
  9. West Greene lost this one last year by a yard, who wins this and goes on to the next round?
  10. I dont think he'll get any job offers til he gets that first round playoff win, came close last year, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. It depends on who WG draws in the first round whether he gets the win, and gets a job offer so he can leave this year or not.
  11. CD wins this one. They dont pass the ball much and the weathers pretty gross tonight, so expect alot of runnin from both teams. South Greene will have their yards but CD wins at home on senior night. Juice and Baxley both have big games CD-42 SG-35
  12. Boles has 251 yards on 35 attempts, Rhinehart threw for 105 yards and a TD and Starnes added 50. A much needed bye week for West Greene this week to get healed up before playoff time. Way to roll buffs keep momentum going into the playoffs and get that sought out for first round win. Good luck to CD on the rest of the year
  13. i agree whole heartedly with the 3 divisions, some of Greenevilles players live within spittin distance of West Greene and yet they can pay to play at Greeneville with the open enrollment, where as you have to live in the district to play at any of the other high schools in the county.
  14. Thanks, is there any way for a west greene vs sg/cd rematch in the first round?
  15. Rome wasnt built in a day and neither is a winning program, West Greene went 1-9 the first year under a new coach and then 5-5 and from then on he has went 7-3 with 4 straight playoff births. Give them a chance and see what they can do, like i said Rome wasnt built in a day
