  1. Talk is talk man...it doesnt bother me..ive been on message boards awhile...
  2. Bounder...if your guy from OR or whoever hadnt tried to slight East by saying they not the #3 in the country because OR played them tight then I never would have said anything. We have been there.. 8 times actually my guy. Back to back..is that good enough for u? We know u dont like teams from the M? Its okay and respect? U gotta respect this hooping in Triple A from the Memphis..hopefully yall make it back next yr
  3. Yep..your team lost though and East won today..any other year..maybe but not this yr for u guys...only thing that matters is a W....half point..2 pts...3 pts..W
  4. None of that matters KWC..state title in hand today...Im sure they would have liked to play but oh well....
  5. Lil pg was aite...regardless of East isnt good talk...OR u guys had good season but u lost the game..LIG it...let it go...East didnt play great yesterday but they did win..
  6. Trust me, I don't think they are going to do anything relevant. Their coaching is suspect and has always been suspect. If they was gonna do something, it should have been in 2015 when they had a really good team
  7. They should be pretty good,Houston is supposed to be pretty good too but on paper, I might go with Southwind. Houston from what I hear is supposed to add a player soon...a 6'4 6'5 kid...
  8. The two kids that played from Hamilton this summer are not playing at East. Trell went back to Hamilton and Kevon isn't playing at East. Southwind not to little, they have a little size with CJ who is about 6'5, Khaliff is 6'7 and KJ Jones is 6'6. They not as small as one would think but they just not as talented or as deep as East might be. East will probably be better than last year and that doesn't bode well for everyone else in Triple in the city but with that said, a few teams can give them some run for a half or so until the talent kicks in. Cordova really gonna miss Dupree, the focus was Tyler but Dupree might have been the best big man in the M last year. He was very valuable and they gonna miss him.
  9. East then everyone else in Triple A. Cordova going to be good too but not as good as last year. Bartlett, no deals. Southwind has a chance to get back to state if they can stay off the same side as East when regionals hit. Fayette should be in the mix because of DJ Jackson and Ripley with Famous Jones. Mitchell isn't near as talented as previous years but coaching will have them there and BT will be good. I heard they big but if they guards not better than Mitchell guards, they gonna lose to them.
  10. Dude has better handle and better feel than Adonis had. He could be a stud!!! He has a tendency to coast though and he's been doing that for a long long time. Can he get out of it with Penny? That's the thing and if he can, he can go to another level in his recruitment. He has big time tools that you can't teach.
  11. Good stuff..yeah definitely, CBHS couldn't go into Binghampton without coming out with a 20 point loss LOL. Do I think they are good, most def!! Phillips is one of the best in the M but I think this might the first team he's had in awhile without a really really good guard/pg. No knock to the players there now but they aren't as good as Naba or Jeremiah and maybe not as good as Javion last year. It's going to be an adjustment for him for sure they gonna be straight though. He one of the guys I respect in the M as a coach. I've always been a fan of lil Blake. One of my favorite players here.
  12. Whitehaven doesn't have the guards, particularly Garland that Brentwood has to be able to do that against East. No one on that team is of that caliber, not close. Brentwood is very very patient and they run they stuff and that's a team that's been together since middle school. Whitehaven has a good team but they aren't nearly as good as last year and they lost both close but the results were none the less, the same. Harris at Cordova shoots it a lot, he does but he's a great shooter however I agree, he can shoot you out of a game too. Blake I think should have the ball more. That lil dude hooping and to me he the dude that stir they drink not Harris but Harris shoots the 3 and we know how people love the 3. CBHS plays a half court game and his team is comfortable doing, they don't have an athlete outside of Will so they have to play that way but they do it well. What you think, top 3 team in the city Tony?
  13. Kirby would lose by double digits..not disciplined enough..Desmond is very good but taking 25 shots against East would end up in a 15-20 point loss if not more and Lomax would take him out out the game. No disrespect to them but just speaking from what I saw Thursday Friday and Saturday and Cheyenne Whitehaven best chance of beating East was last year, if they couldn't do it with that senior team, I don't see it happening this year either. They not talented enough all around. Only team with a chance is Cordova but losing the big kid hurts bad.
  14. Lomax isn't a year older than grade level..I can't say about Moss because I don't know his story even though I've heard rumors but I know about Lomax, he legit..
  15. No one in Triple A in the city is going to beat East. Brentwood has a real good team. Garland hooping, no doubt and they got good all around guards. Ain't no surprise they beat East, they beat em last year. East was without Mr Basketball and 6'3 who was big in the state title game last year.
  16. I don't think Matthews is going to Whitehaven..I think he is OB kid to the fullest..
  17. Mark more of a pg than Harris...Harris is a scorer first, scorer 2nd...best shooter in Memphis by long mile...
  18. And that means what Tony? Lots of kids graduate at 18..he's a junior coming up...
  19. Mitchell gonna win it again next year..4 peat!!
  20. Penny from all accounts is the head guy..Coach Johnson is the coach on paper but Penny does most of it not all the coaching..
  21. He will be a 6'7 6'8 guard. Chandler was super talented in the 7th but he didn't lead his team to championship like Johnathan just did with a team that had no business winning the state sectional.
  22. That's tough..hard to say but my list would probably consist of mostly seniors..Hoover, Dupree, Darrell Brown Jr, Antonio Reed and the 5th, I would give some more thought to. You could make a list and 2 names would more than likely always be on there but the others could change for virtually everyone who has an opinion lol.
