I sure hope this doesn't get lost back here on PAGE 47 I have watched the game films and can say this for sure. Both teams are gonna have their hands full Friday night.

My suggestion on this is for you to talk to him. I see Stork at almost every Blackman game and although we aren't friends per se, we do chat sometimes. We spoke to each other in BG for a few minutes and there is NO DOUBT that he is a Rutherford County football fan! When it's all said and done i have lived in Mboro for my lifetime and anyone who puts as much effort in showcasing our youth deserves our utmost respect and certainly the benefit of the doubt. I didn't hear what was said on the radio so I don't know context but I can assure you he loves Blackman football. Talk to him and you will see.

Blackman and Oakland don't recruit the top athletes from around the country and they certainly don't have the depth. Apples and oranges.

FRIDAY EVENING FORECAST AS OF NOW. It's going to be interesting to see who can stay on their feet and hang on to the ball. I honestly think this will hurt Blackman more than Oakland.

You are correct, they dont offer scholarships to just anyone. Typically you have to have one or more of the following: 1) Unbelievable talent 2) Money 3) Important people in your life (like NFL players or Alumni) who have money To answer your question, the most notable D1 player at Blackman is Jennings.

I don't see your comments limited to 11AAA. Truthfully, I have seen that kid play twice and both times, his attitude got the best of him. He certainly does have above average ability over there in Wilco and I'm not doubting that watching him is fun. I just said that he is not all that IMHO. And for what it's worth, Im not worried about Oakland. There's only two teams in the state who have a shot at beating them and I think everyone at Blackman is looking forward to Friday..

I watched some of the film on OHS And SHS and looked like to me that Siegel just didnt get started on the right foot. Seemed like they didnt have the hurry up going for them early and ended up playing from behind early in the game. For Blackman to win, they first have to protect the ball. Three lost fumbles when you have momentum will not get it done. I expect the field is going to be wet this Friday. If so, I would expect to see turnovers related to the wet conditions. a plus 1 in the turnover department may not matter but a plus 2 with these two teams would probably decide the game. Blackman needs to open up and give Jennings some high percentage passing plays to work with. Seems like Blackman is always looking deep...even when the hitch and slant routes are wide open. If Blackman can get some completions here, their chances of winning improve greatly. Defense has to show up again. Holding Oakland to 9 points last time was a great effort and I expect that if they can hold Oakland to 2 scores again, it could end up being a great night back at Blaze Drive. Kick off coverage has to improve. Stay in your lane and keep your speed guys at three-quarter speed until the return develops. Either way, both teams are gonna have their hands full Friday night. It should be another great game.

The D1 recruits at Indy didn't impress me. They are definitely athletes who stand out amongst the other players in the area but just not that remarkable overall. JMHO Source: Blackman Fan Hendersonville is a very physical and scrappy team. It will take Indys best effort to get past them I say Hendersonville wins by 10..

Macdon, thanks for your input. I was at the game and although I have a kid on the team I am generally a fair minded person. One of our kids got a flag for saying "Come on ref". These guys lost control of the game and they thought by treating our kids extra harsh they could get it back? It fired our kids up more to be treated unfairly. No call on the two hits but later they call us for tackling BG on the edge at the two yard line. I am glad that in TN football is a tough sport. Our kids are spirited and tough. We try to be fair to them all. Blackman was not up 25-13. We were up by 6 when the flags started flying.

Really? BG fans are standing behind our sidelines cussing our kids and saying hateful things to them. The police were called over for that. BG Students and fans throwing things at our kids while they head to the locker room? BG Coach acting like Tommy Lasorda and trying to show out and disrespect our coach...he had to be physically separated.... Our band kids cleaning off the nacho cheese and chips off their uniforms. (hint: they didn't put it there) Add all this to the OBVIOUS unfair treatment by BG referees. Really Biggie?
