Anyone who was at that game knows that the refs were way too involved. Period. If that is the way KY football is played, I would just as soon never go back. Even our band had to be neutered a bit. Those games up there must be mind numbingly boring. I'd just as soon play oakland or Siegel twice.

Thanks to everyone who came out and wrestled and also to those who just came out for mass hydration. We had a solid day if wrestling at Blackman! Great job to the Blackman parents for putting together a great hospitality room as well. Those slick pig wings are awesome! (Credit Soms!!!) So glad to see wrestling season!!!

Great Post!!! I agree wholeheartedly. This board has goth downhill a bit over the last few years. We all love the game. We all love the kids. It's a shame that people can't beat their drum without a whole army trying to tear them apart.

Seems like Bowling Green may not have all the info...From another board (bluegrasspreps) "The knock on Blackman is that they haven't played anyone so it will be interesting to see just how good they really are. I think this is a great match up for both teams." UH OH . . They better get ready - I say Blackman by 10.

Hearsay warning!! I heard last week on Thursday night's game, Oakland would not let Blackman use one of their nearby indoor facilities last week for halftime. From what I was told, the area that was made available was a 6-8 minute walk from the field. Since it was so cold that night, some Blackman parents/boosters got together and arranged a heated tent behind the visitors bleachers so the team could warm up while meeting at the half. After the game was over, I heard that the fire marshal had been called out earlier in an effort to get the tent removed. (I guess he said it was ok) So, what is the normal etiquette? If in fact any of this is true, is it classless, or simply brilliant on the part of the home team?

Is there a way to watch a stream of the game from out of state?

I thought a few weeks ago that Indy could give the Blaze a decent game and I was dead wrong. My first thought on Smyrna is that they are fast and they will test whether or not Blackman is prepared to win 7AAA. I got Blackman by at least 17 when its all over.

You didn't really answer the question. Why is it not factual? How many schools in Blount county are participating in the talent dilution?

Blackman parent here: The story was embellished a TON. Troubled kid from a troubled family. Its very unfortunate and Bray may well be a victim of the Blaze Drive wrestling coach curse. (Harmon, Blosser, Hamm, Kennedy across the street) hoosierdad, you obviously know nothing about warrants. Anyone can file for and have a warrant issued on almost anyone. The cops never spoke to anyone except the kid's mother and the kid. That is a fact. Since you seem so interested in Bray's misfortune, maybe you would like to talk with him about it so you can get the story first hand? Send me a PM and I will give you his phone number. Otherwise, for the sake of people whose livelihood may rely on the outcome of this, let's not speculate, gossip, judge and perhaps publicly embarrass someone when we don't know the whole story. What Bray needs right now are prayers and the support of the wrestling community to which he has given so freely.

Today in the IFL .... Dobyns Bennett travels back in time and defeats every team in 7AAA!! It was awesome.

Game day and Senior night for the Blaze! Blackman will flex tonight in all phases once again. I think Blackman scores 50 or more.

If you have watched Indy then you will probably know who I am talking about. It also seemed to me that this same player Is excelling in theater as well.

41-6 Half. BHS. Indy ain't even close to competing. If one of their star athletes would join his teammates in the huddle every play maybe they would do better.

I agree. Too early to talk about this one. Both teams have three more games to play before this meeting.

Despite losing two in a row, Indy is a threat to Blackman's unblemished record. Blackman better make sure that the DB's are minding their assignments with respect to Indy's passing game. I don't see Indy stopping Blackman's run game as long as everyone stays healthy. No running clock in this one but I got Blackman by two scores when its over.
