oh they tried and we did not get the probation for barbee we got it for letting middle schoolers come to a game like everyone has done for year if there was anyway for them to get us they tried so we got slapped on the wrist and had moved on and some people hasnt moved on and keeps throwing things out there hoping something sticks but nothing really sticks..its ok we are the 2010 STATE CHAMPS so it has definetly worked out for the best... as far as where she lives i do not know i have never followed her home but she went to christianna for 3 years and now RIVERDALE so its whatever What a load of crap. The Riverdale administration uses her Grandmother's address (which is in the Riverdale zone) as her permanent address. She does not actually live at that address. She lives with her mother over next to Oakland High School.

Look t&j, you & I have been going at it since you decided to come to this thread & post. I for one will not continue to go back & forth with you or anyone else about this subject just to keep unnecessary bickering going. I did say it was harsh for me to call them racist & I will apologize for that because I don't know the 3 gentlemen personally. But, I will still hold fast to to my opinion that they were biased & they need to change their attitude. For example, my daughter went to one of the ref & asked for them to watch the 3 sec & he gave her a response that I care not to repeat. It's not necessary, they are being paid to do a job. They should do it with efficiency and with integrity. I understand they are not perfect & will miss a call or two but that's why 3 are on the floor. In regards to Mr. Melton statement in the DNJ, why shouldn't our expectation be high, I for one can't go to my job & not be efficient or work with integrity & expect to remain there. That's unreal. The referees weren't biased. Blackman just flat out whipped Lavergne on Saturday night.

Never had any doubt that Obion is good just as I never had any doubt that GC and Westview are good as well. Anyone that knows AA realizes that these 3 teams in the same district no doubt makes it the toughest district in the state. I'm was just making the point that there are some other quality teams in the state that can play as well... I would place District 7AAA up against this (and any other) district in the state. It's really a moot point though...

There's an awful lot of talk about Morristown West on this thread. I don't recall seeing them in the State tournament last season. Didn't they lose to Powell in the sectionals? What's to prevent them from stumbling thiis time around? Just curious. Over here in Mid TN, Blackman and Lavergne are both very good ball clubs. Lavergne is VERY athletic and Blackman is, well, just a darn good basketball team. I haven't had a chance to see Riverdale yet, but will on Friday night. Being familiar with their personnel as I am, they're gonna be difficult to deal with as well.

Maryville 42 Riverdale 30 And it wasn't as close as the score would indicate! East TN will be well represented next weekend in 6A!

Having grown up in East TN, I am VERY familiar with the football program at Maryville. The Oakland/Riverdale matchup this weekend will be a VERY PHYSICAL football game. Hopefully, no significant injuries come out of this one. Either team will have a BIG, BIG challenge next weekend should Maryville beat Farragut (again). Personally, I can't see either one beating Maryville. However, as the old adage goes, it's awfully hard to beat a team twice. Maryville beat Farragut 35-32 in their previous meeting. That rematch has all the makings of a classic of its own. Clearly, all of the heavyweights are in this half of the bracket. (yeah, i know, now I've made all of the Breatwood folks angry). Ah well, such is life.

Your assessment of the IRS and workman's comp are grossly inaccurate. All CoachT has to is hire a "commision only" salesperson and mail the 1099 to the salesperson and the IRS at the end of the year. It really is that easy. CoachT may have to create a LLC, but the $ associated with that is minimal. Just "anteing" up $40 a pop doesn't offer local area businesses the vehicle to advertise their businesses to the communities across TN and AL. Ah well, enough of this. Now as for your comments about the fine folks with less than 100 posts. Their opinions are just as important as yours. When you're wrong, it's fine for me and others with less than 100 posts to point it out. Whether we are paying to use the site or not is irrelevant.
