Any 11A or 12A spots coming open in boys or girls?

Why?

Don't know about Montgomery but expect them to be the team to beat in the district.

Will be really young. Lost a lot of leadership and quality play from last years seniors. Return very good scorer in sawyer ray but not a lot outside of that. Only about 12 or 13 players on the team so look for several freshmen to see a lot of time.

I know its still football season and have enjoyed watching the Cats improve each week but how does everyone see the district lining up in basketball?

I'll have to agree I think this team has overacheived this year. maybe not in wins and losses but in their ability to be in almost every game. I thought we underacheived last year with our talent level throughout the year and the year before. However, this team has done really well. They compete so hard night in and night out. They could beat any team in the region on any night.

Mental Toughness used to be characteristic of Stown and WC in past years.

The Flu that has been going around does last a long time. Could have been the case but thought he could have balled like Jordan.

How many points is he averaging against 12a teams? I doubt frank Hughes schedule is one of the toughest in the state. Big sandy and clarksburg not known as powerhouses.

I agree Cwood only quality team but that's not really saying a lot. Doubt they could have won the district in many of the past years with the team they have this year. Although they are pretty solid from what ive seen.

Wayne County really struggling. Dont know how many wins they will be able to pull out this year.

From looking at scores early on looks like Loretto and Collinwood should be top two. Don't think anyone else in district will be relevant this year so battle for third is wide open.

Not Sure Wayne County is off to such a good start despite their 2 and 0 record. Heard they struggled in both games to a weak Hickman team.

I agree I don't see crews or rice leaving waynesboro either. Pierce probably wouldn't either I think his son will be a junior next year. I still think Keeton would be a good hire. He might even be able to get coach Morris that helped him at the middle school level go with him as a coordinator. They seemed to work well together and had tons of success.

I think kelsey Risner from Wayne county should be considered. She is the only experienced player that returned off last years championship team and continues to put up big time numbers. Top notch student too has signed with Union University.

I think Ryan Keeton would be a good choice for the mt. Pleasant job. He has been on the Wayne County sideline for many years. He wore a headset and I believe he assisted Coach Crews in calling plays. He has a good knowledge of region 6 and could get it done. His middle school record is second to none.
