Does anyone know the schedule on the Region 6 Tournament? This is what I think it is, but I'm 100% certain. Overall I thought the officials didn't do a bad job in the CHS/MCHS game. Even though I thought the charge call against Fagan late in the 2nd overtime was questionable and was the final turning point in the game. Over my lifetime (46 yrs) I have coached, played, and officiated this game, and I can say without hesitation that the worse officiated game I have ever seen was the D11A Semifinal game between Cornersville & Richland last week. Those three guys were TERRIBLE! I usually never listen to critism of an official unless it is coming from another official, nor do I listen to critism of coaching unless it is from another coach, they usually don't critize each other unless the situtation is pretty bad.

Nelms was back at practice yesterday looking good! The Ole Horse Liniment works wonders! Moore County very well may win, but the Lady Dawgs are pretty fired up after the win last week without Nelms. The Raiderettes know they will have their hands full after sitting and watching Cornersville's supporting cast come from behind to beat Richland. Hat's off to both programs who are well coached and have fans from each of these schools that have tremendous respect for the game and each other. Many of these girls play AAU together during the spring. Even thought they want to beat each other bad. Respect & Sportsmanship is usually on display when these two hook-up! Good Luck to both Tonight & Friday in the Region 6 first round vs. either Summertown or Perry Co.

Kudos to the Lady Bulldogs Supporting Cast. They stepped up BIG coming from behind to beat Richland in OT at Richland without CHS Leading Scorer Sara Nelms who got hurt late in the first half. Looks like Nelms suffered a deep thigh bruise and is listed as day to day. Moore County game Monday night will be Fun, again!

Cornersville High School's Garrett Stiles joined the 1000 point Club at CHS Tuesday night in the win over Moore County. Two of the 22pts scored Tuesday night was a "Thunderous Dunk" that brought down the house. D11A Regular Season Scoring Champion and a front runner to win the District 11A Regular Season Player of the Year! Good Luck in D11A Tourney & Beyond!

The Cornersville - Moore County game is in Cornersville.

I Love both of these teams, but I'll give the edge to Cornersville. Senior Night at CHS, No Doubt a HUGE Crowd! I think all the pressure is on Moore County to win. It's a game of match-ups and when you look at these two clubs position by position, Cornersville just matches up well against MCHS. Size, Depth, Speed, etc. However, 2nd place in D11 may be the place to be going into the tournament anyway? The Loser of this game won't be in a bad tournment position at all!

Don't count your chicken's just yet! I agree that the Lady Hornets should win, but remember Santa Fe defeated a very good Cornersville Team at home without Black. If Santa Fe comes to play, and there is a lot at stake for both teams, Huntland might have a long trip home. Look forward to seeing how it turns out!
