Make it three upset. Mtcs is up 18 in the fourth. I know it was upsets seed wise but 3-6 were all separated by only one game I think.so not sure how big of upset they are

Two upsets so far tonight. Cascade beat eagleville by 4 and community beat forrest by 6. Moore co won big and Huntland and mtcs fixing to start

First round in the books. Moore Co. wins big over Boyd. Huntlands beats Cascade by 16. Forrest pulls away from Community to win big. Eagleville comes from behind to beat MTCS in overtime in the best game of the night. Games for Monday are Moore Co. and Huntland at 6:00 with Forrest and Eagleville to following.

Not sure but most of the time there is a three way tie, you go by records of the teams tied versus each other. So Eagleville and Cascade would 3-1 and Huntland would be 1-3 so Huntland has worse record and is eliminated and then you look at head to head with the two teams involved. Cascade sweep Eagleville so Cascade 2 Eagleville 3 and Huntland 4. Not sure if this is how this district does it but have seen done this way before. I do know that tournament should be exciting, everybody better bring their A game or season will end on Sat. Good luck to everyone but Go HORNETS!

Look at it from our side. You make the trip once a year for a long trip, Huntland and Moore Co. make it a long trip every time they play execpt against each other.

Huntland win 77-75(i think right score) on last second shot in triple overtime. Great game by both teams. They both had chances to win in each overtime but huntland hits shot with less than second to go on the clock. Good job Hornets, now get ready for another big one tommorrow night against MTCS.

Huntland splits with Forrest. Lost monday 12-2 in five innings but bounced back today with a 4-1 win. Good job Hornets. Keep working hard and keep your head up.

They did not play today. Had to call games early because CA cannot play on Wed. nights . Going to play at 4:30 and 7:00 Thursday at richland. I heard Huntland put their tarp back on last night after their game so if they needed a place to play they would have a dry infield.

yea i guess it is centrally located for 5 of the 7 teams. Huntland and Moore Co. drive that time for every district game all year execpt when they play each other. But that it okay we will drive somewhere else next year. We will miss play these teams but you have never heard Huntland and Moore Co. complain about the drive but as soon as someone mentions playing at Huntland everybody complains about the drive. Interesting statement since i heard the collinwood coaches telling coach rob that they were the best team that collinwood had played. Have not played mt pleasant so i wonder where that comes from. we will be ready to play friday night so it dont really matter what anybody thinks. Coach rob preaches that we have to believe in ourselves and our teammates and not anybody else. WE BELIEVE IN EACH OTHER AND OUR COACHES!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt that Coach Rob ever buys anything thats not royal blue. The different colored jerseys is a great idea but knowing the coach if its not royal blue he dont buy it.

This was abattle between what looked like two classy teams. Huntland played well despite missing four starters. Good luck to both the hornets and the trojans the rest of the season.

Majors really does not support either school as far as i know. Its a battle between moorecounty and huntland. Mr majors has had the opportunity to help both schools and for some reason has not. Therefore, let battle be between the schools and their loyal alumni. Go Hornets

Your kid plays i thought that you played and wore the jersey number 11. We lost a football at Collinwood one year when jonathan ward threw the ball in the stands, but do we hold that against collinwood or their field. No, we respect collinwoods coaches and their teams. They are some of the better people to play against. Cascades players and coaches are the same, its just that you seem to get on every thread about huntland and have something negative to say. The huntland coaches and players are some of the best people to be around. Talk with some of them and you might realize the way things really are. GO BULLDOGS

To set the record straight huntlands football field is in the top two in the region. Total athletic facilities are second to none. The only thing cornersville has on us a gym that you cant hear in. Oh yea a title 9 softball facility. To Cascade 11 i am tired of hearing from you. You need to talk about cascade and your film crew. Hows cascades kicking game this year, I hear its down from the past. If their kicker could kick there is also fences to cross at cascade. Huntland plays collinwood this week and that is all we are interested in. The collinwood people are good people, we hope all of you have a safe trip. To the people at cornersville that were concerned with penalties at huntland last year, quit commiting penalties and you will not see the flags.

The Titans QB cant throw, Huntlands can. The guys are working on holding onto the ball and catching the ball. This week is more about improving as a team than anything else. Next time you post sssssss know what you are talking about please.

The Hornets will be READY to play. As far as Huntland being isolated, Linden is not exactly downtown Nashville. And to Cascade11 why dont you keep your post on the cascade thread. You are a really good camera man but not very good at analyzing other football teams. Hope perry co has a safe trip and both teams stay injury free.

Looking forward to oopening the season against a quality opponent. Interesting to see if some of the Huntland players have gotten better over the off season. They lost quite a few players but have some who could step up and be counted on. No predictions hope the weather is nice. The field is beautiful and the Hornets are ready to play.

I was kind of hoping that cascade 11 would rate the hornets after this scrimmage. The football guru said he would decide how good unionville was after Huntland scrimmaged cascade. Would really like to see what he thought about this scrimmage. Probably will be a few excuses.

Thought Huntland looked really good. The QB threw the ball really well and the ends and backs caught most of the passes. Line much improved from past scrimmages, Defense 100% better than past scrimmages. Hornets are improving week to week, looking forward to the opener with clarksville academy.
