  1. I moved 3 times before I went over to the CAK side. I started out behind the bench on the left side of the stadium. That lasted about 10 minutes. Various men all the way up the stands were loudly swearing before the teams even took the field. Once the game started, it got really bad. I moved to the center section towards the top....same result. Finally moved lower right and wasn't there 5 minutes when the rants started. Please note, I am not associated with either school. As I stated in my first post, I was just looking for a good high school game to attend. I will say this, after moving to the CAK side half way into the 2nd qtr, I am a CAK fan now. I witnessed class and composure on their side. One final thought; while on the Alcoa side, all the vulgar, classless comments were distirbuted evenly. I heard fans wish CAK players bad injuries ("I hope #32's knee is blown out."). Direct assaults at CAK players (#25 is a chicken sh**") And I heard it 15 rows from behind me, so everyone else heard it too. I will give the Alcoa fans credit for one thing, they do not discriminate. They cussed their coaching staff just as much as they did the kids on the opposing team. I was told that Coach Rankins' daughter goes to CAK. After what I witnessed, I can see why. As for finding you and sitting with you...no thanks, once was enough for me at an Alcoa game.
  2. You can try to rationalize this away all you want. The bottom line is that bunch cannot handle any adversity. The language being spouted out of the sewers from the fan's mouths was appaling. Little kids sitting few feet away having to listen to that trash is completely unnesessary. The thing that is so eye opening is schools officials were everywhere. (A.D., principals, etc.) Not one of them lifted a finger to put a stop to it. The inmates are running the asilym at Alcoa.
  3. Wanted to find a good high school game to go to Friday and picked the CAK vs Alcoa game. What a great game, but I have seen such terrible fans as the Alcoa fans. They were the most rude foul mouthed fans I have ever been around. Moved to the CAK side and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I didn't have a dog in this fight but after a little while on the Alcoa side, I quickly became a CAK fan. Alcoa fans showed no class at all. Swearing at the top of their lungs and cussing the coaches. The worst part was their A.D. and other school officials sat right there and let it happen. Never made any attempt to put a stop to it. Alcoa = NO CLASS.
  4. If done the way they do it in their strength and conditioning program, yes. He has added muscle over the past 2 years and his speed has increased as well.
  5. Horton is more like 190 #s. Another year in that weight room program should add another 10 to 15 pounds of muscle. 5'11, 205 with his vision and speed will be hard to over look for any good recruiter.
  6. East has the best Freshman team year in and year out. When they move up to varsity is when Hatcher gets them and we see the results.
  7. East sucks more than they usually do. West can name their number in this one. 2s and 3s will get all the play they want.
  8. East isn't a good test for anyone. Ideal Homecoming opponent though. Better hurry, I would bet the phones at East are ringing off the hook for homecoming scheduling requests.
  9. Bearden will thump East. They suck more than they did last year. Bearden's 2s and 3s will get a lot of work Friday night.
  10. Whoever the guy is that does Morristown East games is the absolute worst ever. They could make a killing selling ear plugs at the games to block out that clown.
  11. Haven't seen either one, but East must really suck because if they had anything at all, their fans would be all over this board talking about "winning it all" this year.
  12. Heard East sucks and West looks pretty good.
  13. Any idea who East and West are scrimmaging and when and where?
  14. Understand that West is a bend but don't break defense so far. They did give up one T.D. to Bearden, but their offense is very powerful. Scored 2 or 3 times against Bearden I was told. Bearden apparently has a couple of really good tailbacks.
