Well I have to jump in here on the ole sandlot.......The Jackets must have your attention now......lets see........Cent. beat Franklin.....Brentwood beat Cent. and the Jackets beat Brentwood.....Now you know if this was a wrestling bracket who be the number one seed in the County???..lol....So come on ole Wes..you helped us out in Football and these guys here at Fairview need some respect and with your good post...do the right thing!!!!! Fairview is the number one team in the county!!!!

Does anyone have any imformation on who Cumberland has signed for next year???

Dang straight...I'll join if you join ours...lol....I know there were a lot of great atheletes that didn't get but for sure these two boys deserve it.....Our Region is as strong as anyones.......see ya there!!!

Glad to see Bobby from Lewis there...Aaron Cothran from Fairview will be with him.....can't wait to see these two guys from Region 5 hook up...it's going to be great....

To watch my son work for the past two summers to acheive the best he could be.Hitting the weights for three hours a day.7 days a week...running bleachers with a 80 lb. back pack each night followed by pulling sleds...doing this preparing to finish his high school season with a bang....he set his goals for rushing and acheivements and met them.......... Way to go 22!!!!! Only in America!!!!

How about some predictions on the East West Shrine game....won't be long.Seems like the West is loading up!!

Being realistic,Fairview does have a good team but they lost a lot of over all balance.The Jackets do have a good runner coming up but the shoes are going to be hard to fill.Saying he will be better than #22 is strecthing quite a bit.Then there is #44 Stinson who was a great blocking back as well as LB.Also losing Corey Dedman at nose,Lance Furhman at tackle Dustin Arney as center..then there is Smiley and Norvell lost from the DB's and speedy Victor Douglas off the return.and Sissom who filled in at outside LB. Fairview does have some great players returning,Jarrod Mangrum will help at the FB position and on defense and Bobby Martin will need to put on about 20 more #and should be a great runner.Big Joe on the line with big Quinn and Shane King will be big players.Charlie Hilgerson should be the backbone on the line as well as on Defense,he is no doubt the best lineman in the REGION next year.Overall the Jackets should have a solid team.......but when you lose big studs and a racehorse it will take some adjusting and Coach Rewis and Coach King has the brains to put it all together.....I will be there supporting the Jackets like always.....good luck boys and work hard for the season is right around the corner........

It looks like Aaron will sign to play at Lambuth University this week.After careful consideration of several other schools he really liked the coaching staff and program at Lambuth.They really supported him and let him have his space while conditioning for the State Wrestling championship.He has had a great year and thanks to all that have supported him this year here on CoachT,..Good luck to all next year and especially to the Fairview Yellowjackets........

What not tell what he did???I am curious as well..There are several threads about kids doing things out of line,and its all over here....so why not this subject??He is no different...this is about HS football.

Smokediver is right on the money......My question??????if the scoreboard had injured a kid or maybe even another wrestler....would some still feel the same????Smokediver was right about missing a weigh in...we had a guy that wrestled in the region,won both mathes the night before the finals...was over .4 couldn't wrestle and had to withdraw...he had made weight all year...great kid....so since it is his first offense why couldn't they have let him slide...don't think so.Examples could be given all day,the only anwser is put your foot down and say this will not be tolerated period!!!!......

I witnessed the match and felt like itwas a bad call.I also sat here all three days and seen bad calls made on each mat.This still shouldn't make it right for an athelete to act like that.TSSAA has do do something about it or next year it would be only fair for all wrestlers that are not happy with their outcome should be able to cuss kick and stomp and tear down score stations..then all should say I am sorry and thats it.......don't think so...rules should be inforced and stuck to it know matter who broke them and sporstmanship should be a top priorty.Should it have only made a difference if the scoreboard injured someone!!I remember just a few months ago a football caoch threw a helment and hit a player busting his head open...same type of rage.He said he was sorry as well...but a little too late....

Who is coaching each team.......is there a list out yet?

Fairview will have one of the best linemen in Charlie Hilgerson.,He was he anchor of the Fairview YellowJackets line.Good frame and very quick..certainly D1 material.

Congradulations to Aaron and Big Joe from Fairview...good luck next weekend at the State!!

Aaron has had several good offers but it might come down to Carson Newman and Lambuth.I am proud to see that he has his head on right at this time.The Coaches have been great with him by not pressuring to sign on signing day since he is finishing his wrestling career these next two weeks.The Regions are this weekend and the state is next weekend and this sport as well as others take a lot of focusing.His goal is to get the best education first ,then try to get some playing time as well.Good luck to all the recruits on their next chapter in life.Tennessee has had some awsome talent this year with more to come.I want to thank you all for your support this year regarding to Aaron.There have been many kind words on here about him and many other kids as well.To ELA....good luck in your search,I know whoever gets you will have a great leader and instructor for their child.To Wes Vol...thanks for your support in the Willianmson County schools,I have enjoyed your posts...and last to Coach Rewis ,Coach King and Coach Mac I know that Fairview is in good hands for years to come.

Hey Coach G,thanks for the kinds words..Carson Newman,Indiana State and TT wants him as RB and Lambuth at OLB...just playing the waiting game should know in another week or so....will stay in touch and good luck to all recruits this year..they were some awesome talent in Tenn. this year..

Aaron Cothran from Fairview has an official visit for Feb.1st at Carson-Newman..it's between them Indiana State and Lambuth...hope he stays here...lol..
