  1. Any results of the Ravenwood/Indy match?
  2. BB, I went to the TSSAA website to see who all you had scheduled. Has everyone dropped their matches with ya'll this week? I'm not 100% sure, but I think we have our makeup match scheduled for ya'll next week.
  3. Who all is attending this year?
  4. Here's the complete brackets from Coach Peck's website. http://www.coachpeck.com/attachments/09 ... esults.PDF
  5. I just noticed this article with a little more info on the tournament results. http://www.tennessean.com/article/20100 ... 072/SPORTS
  6. That ref in the Clarksville/MBA match was a good one. What's his name?
  7. rasslinlite, I'm sorry, none of my rant was directed toward you. I've been holding everything in for a couple days and it had to come out.
  8. I wasn't going to get on here and say this unless this match was brought up. Well this match has been brought up now. Clarksville has 3 legitimate losses this year to Father Ryan, Brentwood and Independence. The loss to MBA on Tuesday night was the worst case of home cooking by a referee that I've ever seen and I've experienced wrestling all over this country. I do not know the referees name but he was awful. It wasn't that he didn't know what he was doing, he knew exactly what he was doing. Clarksville had to pin the MBA guys multiple times in the match to ever get the fall. Jordan had Bellet pinned and the whole gym knew it, but this kid was protected. My son Chad had the other Bellett pinned also, everyone knew it and it still wasn't called. Chad still got the minor win but not the pin he deserved. Another bs locking hands call in the 119 match with 2 seconds left, I could go on and on. Just these three calls turned the match. Brandon Isbell and Ren Baggett had to pin their guys multiple times. This referee should never be allowed to call an MBA match again, especially one that is important. It was clear that he let emotions get in the way of doing his job. I know someone will respond by saying you should beat a team so bad that you take the referee out of the picture, but some matches are going to be close. This match should have been won by Clarksville. Others may get on here and say you shouldn't complain unless you've worn the stripes. Well I plan on wearing stripes after my two older boys graduate, unless I'm blackballed because of this post. I'm too busy now with work and coaching a kids wrestling club. The pins by Clarksville were obvious. Just so no one throws the anonymous crack back at me either, my name is David Isbell. I normally just get on here and ask questions, share information and accasionally bust someones chops but I'll complain this time because this ref was horrible. Sorry for the book but I had to get this off my chest.
  9. These are the teams listed on the Ravenwood Wrestling Website (coachpeck.com). Maybe someone else can confirm or deny if these are correct. 1.Ravenwood A,B 2.Rossview A,B 3.Beech A,B 4.Oakland 5.Arlington 6.Clarksville A,B 7.West Creek 8.Harpeth 9.Hartselle, AL 10.Page 11.East Robertson 12.McGavock 13.Hume-Fogg 14.Hopkinsville High School, KY 15.Hunter's Lane
  10. OK, I'll take a bite on this hook. Why was the Hendersonville wrestler at 215 so upset to get his hand raised?
  11. Come on now Bo. Do you really think things will be tough as a team for Harpeth only because of the forfeits in this match. I agree there will possibly be some good matches though.
  12. Are you saying that HHS won a dual tournament that CBHS was a part of?
  13. I was a little off on that prediction then.
  14. Did Adrian Thomas (CNE) wrestle at 130 in this tourney? If so then who beat him?
  15. Hawksfan, What was the Gonzalez/Maples score at the Indy tourney? I just wanted to see how close my prediction was?
  16. Looks like the Clarksville area teams did a pretty good job across our border to the north. Congrats. It also looks like the 125lb class for both region 7 and state has gotten a little more interesting.
  17. Clarksville beat Ravenwood 36-34 in the finals.
  18. Clarksville beats Ravenwood 36-34 in the finals to win the BA Duals.
  19. I'm not sure how long Coach Jordan has been coaching, but Clarksville wrestles a huge amount of duals. Most are quads.
  20. 103 Maples will probably get majored by Gonzalez 112 Tyler Newton from Clarksville High will be in the mix here. He's been out for about a month with an injury but he's back now. 125 I think you're a little off with the #4, but I'm a little biased at this weight class. 130 You definitely need to flip/flop your #2 and #3. 152 Roberts and Baggett will be a real battle 160 Bradshaw and McGaha will be the battle here 189 I believe Todd has the advantage here 215 Jaeckel and Yunis will be a huge battle Most of the other weight classes I either agree with or don't know much about.
  21. Does anyone know what teams are attending?
  22. WrestlingGod, I'm sure Back was outstanding in the tournament but you also have to look at bracket strenght. That 145 lb bracket was loaded. Whitfield had a wrestler there also and he was ranked 3rd in Kentucky. I wouldn't take anything away from Brennen Cox either. Anyone beating Brennen by any amount of points should be considered outstanding.
  23. He can possibly be wrestling in January.
