  1. I noticed a few TN wrestlers had matches posted on FLOWRESTLING from SE Regionals. http://www.flowrestling.org/videos/coverag...onals-freestyle
  2. The registration link has disappeared on the website. Has anyone else had difficulty registering?
  3. Kevin Jackson is the new head coach for Iowa State. http://www.desmoinesregister.com/article/2...020603/90430032
  4. The Main Arena is 150 feet by 300 feet, and has permanent seating for 4,180, with optional temporary seating for an additional 3,500. I would think this gives plenty of room for growth.
  5. This is great news. Congratulations to middle Tennessee.
  6. My name is David Isbell and my email is isbell_dave@yahoo.com Christian Isbell is the wrestler and he was a Bantam #67 on the list.
  7. Were the awards/t-shirts given out at the Spring Nationals? If so, what happened to the t-shirts of the wrestlers not in attendance at nationals? I tried the contact email for the top 100 on the TN AAU wrestling website and keep getting the mail returned. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Knucklehead Wrestling Club Practice location: Clarksville High School Wrestling Building 151 Richview Road Clarksville, Tn 37043 About the club: We will primarily be focusing on the Olympic styles of Freestyle and Greco for the months of April-July. We often find that this is the most fun and refreshing season of wrestling. These styles will make a wrestler better rounded in their skills and experience of wrestling positions. It is often tough to find a place that offers mat time during this time of year. It is our desire to offer the Clarksville and surrounding areas an opportunity to get better and have fun learning a new style of wrestling. We will be practicing twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Tournaments are available on the weekends at locations in Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga. Who can join the club: For ages 9 and above. Experience level and wrestling abilities will not matter. We accept all levels. Fees: The fees for this season are that each wrestler will need a USA wrestling card that can be purchased online at http://www.themat.com/membership.php plus a $25 dollar club fee. Tournament expenses will be the responsibility of each wrestler if they choose to attend. Equipment needed: You will need only wrestling shoes and a singlet (the singlet if you plan to compete in the tournaments). Tournaments: Most of the Freestyle and Greco tournaments are in April and May with national level tournaments taking place in the months of June and July. Practice Times: We will be practicing @ the Clarksville High School wrestling room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-7:30PM. Any questions please contact: Jason Pennington (Jpennington16@apmail.apsu.edu)

  12. This is great news coach. This type of exposure can only help in drawing more attention to the many benefits of a wrestling background. It will not hurt our recruiting efforts at CHS either. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  13. I'm in Clarksville now. Retired last year. It was C-Co that went to Juarez and had quite a few guys get in trouble. B-Co went to Somalia. I PCS'd to Campbell right before all of this went down.
  14. Brandon Isbell from Clarksville could fill the 145 if needed.

  18. Retirement is going great. We just won our regional championship last night. Are ya'll still getting some extra training down at the OTC? Glad to hear that Justin is doing well. Shoot me an email sometime at isbell_dave@yahoo.com
  19. Both of my sons are doing well on a pretty good team here at Clarksville. Chad is wrestling at 112 and Brandon is at 135. We will see how we stack up against the rest of the state next weekend, as we host the state duals. I check up on Coronado from time to time and it looks like they're doing well also. I'm trying to figure out who you could possibly be? David Isbell
  20. Does anyone know what teams will attend?
  21. Does anyone know what teams are going to this tournament?
  22. Does anyone know what teams will be at the Greeneville tournament tomorrow?
  23. Thank you everyone for the input. What about the Clarksville area? Is there anything going on in the off season around there?
  24. Where are the off season wrestling opportunities in middle TN? I see lots of clubs around Chattanooga and a few around Memphis, but not much in the middle of the state. It seems like clubs are the way to go because of all the dead periods now. Can someone enlighten me if I'm missing something here?
