It is nice to see a patriot fan that remembers the past, and understands what a good coach can do for a program. Gaddis, and his staff, have done a great job. He deserves to win one, but I just hope my buddies at Springfield give you guys a game. If it rains will it make a difference?

Not a springfield coach! But the one you are talking about is a close friend. Talk to him almost every night. He coached my son at northeast. I was not bashing the Patriots, I did post that they would win the region.

Typical, but NW was given the ball inside the 20 yard line 3 times off of turnovers in the first half. At that moment the score was 7-7. Lets see: if a good team converts each fumble to a touch down, it is 7+7+7+7=28 points. Not a math major, but if Northwest was a good team they would have converted those turnovers. That would have made it 28-7 at the half.

Is Northwest that good? The game could easily been 28 - 7 at the half favoring Northwest. Starting slow or not, good teams will exploit all turnovers into touch downs.

Yes, Clarksville beat Springfield, and Northwest beat Clarksville. Does not say much. Each week is a new week in my opinion. Springfield has lead in the two losses at the end of the first half in one game 17-9 and the other 13-12. The yellow jackets just seem to lose focus after the half, and have lost those two games. The Northeast game showed the yellow jacktets down 20-0 in the second quarter, and they pulled an upset 34-33. This team is so young, and can be dangerous to some teams. I would not count this team out just yet Red Pride Nation. Do remember when henry co. was 2-8, and everyone wanted them for home coming. So it does take time to build a program. Give the jackets credit, they are working to be better week by week. Maybe one day this game will be one for the ages. Hey, it just my be this year! Never know!

Springfield has only 3 seniors that play, and all the rest are made up mostly of freshmen and sophmores. Future looks bright if they can keep discipline!

Only going off what a buddy told me that was in the news paper today in Robertson County. Has the score of this game from the robertson county times. Clarksville wins big!

If springfield cannot stop the run it will be a long night. The jacket defense is giving up over 200+ yards rushing on defense per game, and clarksville loves to run the ball. Plus coach cobb will prepare the wildcats for the jacket air assult. This game is closer than we may think. 34 - 28 either team. Not prediciting a winner, but will say both teams will put up points if the defenses don't step up. winning team gets up by 6 to win. Who will that be? Guess we find out friday night.

Well, Well, it is going to be a great game. Two former rivals going at it again. Every time these teams have played it has been till the end. 2 years ago they met week 10 in the mud and the jackets won a tight one, then they met two weeks later to only have the wildcats winning in the forth quarter. So this one is another nail biter. Both teams are coming off close games last week, and I personally believe that this will be another great game. Will the wildcats run wild, or will the jackets air it out. I cannot wait till friday. By the way, West Creek posted win one. Congrats to the coyotes!

Northeast lost to Fort Campbell 20 - 7 tonite but in their second scrimmage beat Calloway Co. Kentucky 21 - 0. Does anyone have any other scrimmage scores?

Man, Henry Co looks tough to beat! However, we all know it comes down to who shows up on Friday night. My top four teams at the preseason have to be as follows: Henry Co at top Clarksville High close behind Dickson Co is a lock at third and 4 is between these teams (Rossview & Kenwood) West Creek being young will surprise teams and finish 5-5. Northeast will feel the pain of losing players to West Creek and finish 3-7. Springfield ends up 5-5. Northwest gets better but ends up 3-7. Reps in the playoffs will be in 6A - Dickson the top seed and Rossview the two. 5A - Henry the top seed and Clarksville the two. 5A wild card - Kenwood Bowl games - Springfield and West Creek I guess I can look back at this in 10 weeks to see if I know what I am talking about!

OK, lets stop comparing our male parts. The fact is that the past is only bragging rights. This is a new year with many new looks on each team. Heck, I don't think anyone is talking about athletes on teams, but what athletes that were on teams. We cannot dwell on the past! Who on your team is going to shine? Now I can say West Creek has Kenny West at QB, Duval at RB, and Fifer at NG. These three boys are going to surprise teams. So who on your team is going to be special?

Northwest in 03 on a 4th quarter TD pass to a WR. Northwest in 04 on a 4th quarter TD pass to a WR. I think Henry and Clarksville game will be a dog fight. Both have been tough the past 3-4 years, and if it were not for Hillsboro, either team may have been playing for a championship at least once in the past 3-4 years. Remember Maplewood beat Clarksville then Henry in 07 to make the championship. I agree that the love for patriot football is over board at times, but makes the games exciting when you go see Hank sing before a game. Has he sang since the Hillsboro playoff game three years ago? OK, are you ready for some football! Region play begins in three weeks. The games that are not region games are power games. The teams with the same record will be placed on who they played outside the region I think. Who has the toughest out of region schedule? Lets see who scheduled the better out of region schedule?

To post a fact, NW is 2 - 2 with Henry county in the last four meetings. Truth hurts. Under stevens the vikings put it two henry, and then came gaddis and the fab 3. Now only gaddis is there. Henry has only been a power for 3 years as of late. Studs till they meet either hillsboro or maplewood. New year, new region, new looks. Anything can happen. Hey, they are the boss until they are knocked off.

My opinion! Teams finishing in order! Henry Co. 8 - 0 Clarksville High 7 - 1 Dickson Co. 5 - 3 Rossview 5 - 3 Springfield 4 - 4 West Creek 4 - 4 Kenwood 4 - 4 Northeast 3 - 5 Northwest 2 - 6 But who knows. Henry Co. has been running the same thing for 3 years now. Clarksville High is consistant yearly with the option. Dickson Co. year two with new system. Rossview will be tough on defense, and win a few close games with kelly. Springfield, under myers, will not quit, but are they ready under the new system. West Creek is loaded with athletes, can they be the big surprise under first year coach. Kenwood is young, but their very athletic and big. Northeast will be hurt by losing athletes to west creek. Northwest will play harder, but will they produce for their third coach in 3 years.

The new district looks to be evenly matched, but how do you feel the teams will stack up? With many new coaching changes will this region be ready to compete on a weekly basis with teams like Clarksville, Henry, Dickson, Northeast, and Rossview set in their system. Offuit has himself and 3 others that have been hired on from what I hear. Pretty sure he will have 5 under him by the end of next week. I do belive that they will get him the help. So coaching will not be an issue next season. Rumors has many players leaving, two headed to christian county already. A great transfer in from New York, but when will fort campbell discover this young man. Who knows over there?

First year will be tough. The boys are excited with about 80 working out. Stud QB, quick RB, and a big line. I think you will learn and know the Names West, Miller, and Fifer. Fifer is a beast. 5 feet 10 inches tall and 300 pound junior. Great boys. Will be there to see it.

Come on now! We all know that anyone that faces their old teams or guys they coached with adds to the new head coaching experience. Cannon Co. faces West Creek week one, and the West Creek boys want a few things that night. 1. First win in school history. 2. Give Goodwin his first win in Tennessee. 3. How sweet would it be to get both on the same night? Everyone wants to beat their old boss! That is reality! Don't care what anyone says, but to see Goodwin beat Shrenk would be a great feeling. Remember, Shrenk was the future of Northwest until he had a change of heart. You can be a head coach, but to face your old boss it means that much more! You don't agree?

what you see is what you get? think he will be better without the individual telling him false information. i just hope gives others an opportunity before prejudgeing. think week one vs. west creek will be a fun match up. his old oc is going to try to get right by the past.
