You should check your facts on my son. He is 17, will turn 18 during the school year, and yes he is a junior. He has never failed anything. He was held back a year. He has always had A's and B's and is an Honor Student taking Honors classes, with a 3.92 GPA. And yes he will be eligible to play next year.

As HIS MOTHER, this has went completely too far! I am really upset with the way everyone has reacted to the fact that my son is moving in with me. I for one am thrilled to have my son back under my roof. I understand that everyone feels let down that he is leaving, but DO NOT criticize him for making a decision to live in my home. I have supported Meigs and will continue to do so. I have a few friends there and love many of the kids that attend. Everyone has their own beliefs and that is fine, but you do not know the whole picture nor do you know the situation that I am in. Do not bad mouth a child for making a decision like this. He is a very good kid and deserves more than he is getting from everyone. If you want to blame anyone, you can blame me, say what you want, but do not bad mouth my son.
