I think that these teams are basically miror images of each other. Both are middle of the road teams with similar veer offenses and 4-4 and 4-3 defenses. They have basically swapped coaches since Taylor was at Grundy for awhile and Montgomery was at Whitwell before he left. I think the game is a toss-up and depends on who gets the most breaks. I give the edge to Whitwell in this one as he and his staff seemed to have the ball rolling in the right direction no matter the number of wins or losses. Whitwell 21-14

The Whitwell vs. Scottsboro Christian game should be good too. Come see it. The facilities looked great and up to date and the crow should be big.

Won 6-0 ran the Wing T and the Double Wing T and looked really good. Whitwell looked uninspired and looked like it overlooked Signal Mountain and paid for it.

Also don't forget that Danny Hale is coaching the middle school and he helps out on Friday nights. So that means that four out of the five coaches are Marion Co. graduates: Taylor, Barton, Thacker, and Hale. Brady is the only one not from Marion Co. and he is from Alabama.

Heath Thacker is the new coach at Whitwell High School. Heath played basketball at Marion County and has been coaching softball and basketball for years. He is someone that is you know him has alot of energy and drive and will do great things for Whitwell. He has a great personality that will fit in great at Whitwell. Is there soemthing that you don't like about him alumni4? He seems like a great guy to me and PurpleGrad seems to think so to.
