Hey croz u brought one out Monterey is down but I can't say much they whipped my clay county boys butts they are not running same offence as they have I really don't know what u would call it kinda a single wing don't see your boys having any problems dang your boys may be the team to beat in 1a this year

By no means will I take up for the way clay has played the last couple of games, but I still believe they can get better they have been playing horrible but they played so much better than this in the preseason i was actually very excited about what might be they have had 7 lineman out since the first game and was told some of them will be back this week and lord knows they will help but i still do think this will be a good game rbs has alot to play for and you can't help but be happy for them and if clay wants to save there season they have to win this game im going with the dogs in this one

i just hope Monterey paid there light bill this year last time Clay played at Monterey the lights suddenly went out right in the middle touchdown run for Clay. If Clay plays the way they did last week I hope the lights never come on that was an embarrassment everything that could go wrong did but if they can play the way they did earlier in scrimmages then they may be ok but either way this game is huge for both teams if they have any hope of making it to the playoffs i sure hope clays coaches can get it through there boys heads that they have to come too play or they will come off the mountain licking their wounds and seeing another season go down in flames

it would be great if coacht could find a way to have the topics show up in both forums when different classes played so we wouldn't have to go back and forth so much and maybe get more attention just a thought

go get em tigers repersent us small guys i know you need no other motivation for this game but hope you all and clay can beat those bigger schools this friday it only makes you better to play up

so the kid is still in school and didn't play that does hurt Clay - Celina has had there share of that you need your best athletes to play when your in a small town the guys don't realize what they miss till they get out of school a few years and look back and realize these are the best days of there lives i look around the stands and wonder sometimes what are they thinking but the ones that want to be there thats the ones that make it worth going and watching so like you said who needs him be proud of the boys you have

I would agree if i was Clay I would just try and work out a deal not to even have to go play Friday DeKalb is clearly the better team much bigger school much more talent and that dc they have is clearly better than all clays coaches put together i heard clay cant even line up straight much less chew gum and walk i guess were in for along night but i suppose we do have to show up i think there is probably a contract or something so maybe clay can pull the biggest upset ever sic'em boys

well its football time again been a long wait hasn't boarhog be glad too see the lights on again in Celina the dogs have looked alright so far in the little Ive seen of them got some potential but like you said Ive seen those men from Taft scare the dogs a few times they always have some speed on that team hopefully clay can take care of business and get started with a win I'm still disappointed after last year but after talking too some people seems we have some good skill guys this year lets hope they can stay healthy see you at the game do you know if there having the tailgate party this year cant beat free food GO DOGS

i dont post on the b-ball boards much but midtensportsfan come on man you told everyone you were godwins dad on the football boards and that post somehow went away and thats fine id be very proud but dont get on here talking about how much better he is than everyone else and not expect some feedback godwin and boles are both great players would have been a good year for a split mvp but congrats too godwin all that really matters is the one that wins the mvp of district and region

easy now boys we are getting a little excited clay still hasn't beaten a team with a .500 record win this game then lets boaster glad to see optimism but lets try to keep things in prospective

dont know anything about west carroll or bruceton how should it turn out if im looking right bruceton is in if they win and west carroll would be in if they win and clay , montery and union city lose im a clay fan so i really hope they can win against oliver springs looking at the t.s.s.a.a site i believe clay will jump monterey today due to oliver springs winning last friday now they will finish .500 and clay dropped below .500 so clay has 6 teams at .500 and monterey has 5 but i see clay , bruceton or union city winning this week so it will take 5 wins to get in and realy if you cant finish .500 you shouldnt get in but if it happens im sure the teams would be glad just to get in

first of all congrats to g-ville they have a heck of a team can see why they are so excited about there playoff hopes as far as clay ahhhhhhhh turnovers all year turnovers and bad penalty's have killed them dont get me wrong the best team won no question but i think clay really surprised some folks in blue take away some ints and fumbles and give us that interception our guy dropped late in 2nd quarter and this was a lot closer game but if ifs and buts were candy and nuts never mind good try guys you at least made them works get your heads on right and win next week

hate to make a prediction on this one all ill say is i would be pleasantly surprised if clay hangs with g-ville it will be senior night and id like to see those guys have a good last game at home all of us that played know how emotional that can be good luck to both teams croz ill try to get over there tomorrow night sounds like me and you both have our hands full i have three boys also ages 4,3 and 2 months guess we will be able to post against each other for awhile

man all of this over a film you guys are insane im a clay county fan just checking in sunbright had a pretty good team early in the fall when we scrimmaged i know o.s. had a good team last year and are supposed to be a little down if the game has as much fire as the thread does should be a good one

if your kids are on the track there is usually as good of a game beside the track as on the field two of my boys will be in the middle of it so have yours join in will start the rivalry early

Clay made a couple of bone head hires for coaches with atkins and mcdaniel back to back brown was a great fit but like you said nobody can blame him for leaving maxfield i believe can bring it back first hometown hire since 99 i really think next year will be a good year lot of talent coming back they do lose some good players but the core will be back most as three year starters the main problem is heart the kids now just dont have as much 15 years ago we were expected to win if we didnt we got ragged all week at school at home and in town now if they lose its just whatever and they go on like nothing happened the youth seem to be more excited about football now so maybe they can get back on track go dawgs and as far as Clay going back to Celina dont even get me started

now your talking my years we had some battles with g-ville in the late 90s still havnt got over the 1997 game celina was up by 5 with one minute to go g-ville scored a 95yd td on 4th and 5 on the 5 had some great games guess we butted heads a couple times

what up croz sorry i hadnt had a chance to get on here this week after the jc game we had pickett and didnt have no need to get on here for that one im glad we finally have some more posters on here been letting them have a taste im not as sure as they are we will give you a run for your money but its still a game and thats what we all love about high school sports you never know but after seeing g-ville last year and the scores of this year im pretty sure we all know that g-ville is a heavey favorite wish our visiting seating was better but im sure you walk the fence like the rest of us so seating wont matter to you

heart break for clay played alright keep shooting them selfs in the foot late TD punt return called back roughing the kicker late both times woulds have tied game but JC played there hearts out they wanted it more and got it 24 is a really good ball player almost single handily won game

be great to have you come early some great food in town try ollies touch of soul for great country food or if you like bbq dale hollow one stop is pretty good
