My prediction is Sequatchie by at least 24

I disagree. I like how he announced! We at Sequatchie have the worst PA announcer in the state.

Any head coach around will tell you that it's a lack of discipline. Especially if it happens more often than not.

One here and there is on the kids, more than that is on the coaching staff. Lack of discipline is exactly what it is. Which falls on coaching.

That doesn't make much sense considering the first and third TD's were scored on the starters. The pass defense if our Achilles' heel. The biggest problem is we don't get any type of decent pass rush unless we send our LB's. For some reason against passing teams we leave our big slow guys in to rush the passer. You would think after getting beat by DeKalb and Upperman for that very reason then something would change. My fear is we lose to a team we shouldn't lose to because we cant stop the pass or a QB that can scramble.

I say Sequatchie wins by about 13.

Bledsoe has no chance.

I didn't really see any adjustments. Sequatchie just kept doing what they were doing and kinda wore SP down on defense. The main difference was the poor play calling by SP in second half.

Whitwell is improved but this will not be the year they defeat Sequatchie. I really think Sequatchie wins this one by at least 20.

The bad thing is that Grundy interviewed several good canidates for the job. Tate needed time under a quality coach. Until Grundy decides they want to start taking football seriously it will never change.

I haven't heard if Lilly was hurt in second half or not? Only touched ball one time I believe.

Is there a reason Lilly stopped getting the ball? Why did SP stop running Jet? Not impressed with Pirare play calling.

I think Silverdale wins 5 for sure. Maybe even 6.

Sequatchie went undefeated couple years ago against Jasper, South Pittsburg, Whitwell, Grundy and North Jackson in the 10-11 age group. Not sure if that's going to carry over now that they are in middle school, but they looked pretty solid back then.

I am in agreement with you here. The problem with Sequatchie not being better is a combination of poor leadership at the top and no consistency in the coaching staff.

Should be a very close game. SP wins a close one because Sequatchie gets outcoached.

Surely Whitwell wouldn't hire Malone after what he was apart of at East Ridge.

CRR is what is referred to as a transactional coach.

I can respect a man that wants better for himself and family. I can not respect a man that blatantly lies to kids. Call it what you want but this man lacks good character. The kids will be better off without this man. I still find it hard to believe the county hired him back after what he did at SP. After showing his true colors, its best for the players and folks of Jasper that he is gone.

If Sequatchie gets some of the players back out that didn't play last year or last couple then they will be a force to reckon with in the district. Defense should be just as good with two all state caliber LB's returning. The key will be if we can figure out how to defend spread teams that like to throw the ball 30 times a game.

Now that is funny! A guy wins a few games with a load of talent and he becomes the best the valley has "seen." You obviously haven't been around the valley very long.
