  1. What do you think Independence fans will be saying to Franklin players when Independence is behind by 20? I guess Independence fans wouldn't know, but normally you can do the most trash talking when your actually winning the game.
  2. McGavok won't be able to stop Franklin's running game. Not many teams can.
  3. Ravenwood is the dirtiest team in the region, especially the linemen. After almost every play they try to take cheap shots.
  4. Given that you are about 0 for 10 on predictions so far, I don't think you can expect anyone to take you seriously for a long time. I suggest you stop worrying about Franklin and start hoping Ravenwood can make the playoffs, because from what they showed last night, they won't. If Franklin has "holes in their armor" as you put it, then Ravenwood what you think Ravenwood has? Do they even have armor? (To anyone knew on coacht, if you see kingz615 make a prediction, its a very good idea to completely disregard it, as he has been known to be completely incorrect on every issue.)
  5. Now that the game is over and the results are in, with Franklin dominating Ravenwood in every facet of the game, we can look at all of your educated remarks that came true in this game. You said receivers Jamaul Starnes was not tough, not a playmaker, and that he was afraid to run the crossing route across the middle. Yet on Franklin's first drive, it was Starnes who caught pass coming across the middle and took it inside the 20 to set up Franklin's first touchdown. You also said that Franklin always shot themselves in the foot, yet it was Ravenwood who made the mistakes, snapping the ball over the quarterbacks head and picking up a huge pass interference penalty in the 1st half. And finally, you trashed Franklin's defense and Coach Webb saying, "The Legendary/ Potent/ Lockdown "Coach Donnie Webb" defense (as it is so commonly praised) is no longer an issue." This prophecy was by far your most accurate as Webb's defense held Ravenwood to 0 points. Shutout. 27-0. It was such a blowout, Franklin's student section began chanting "This is boring" with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. After the game, a Franklin student was walking around with a white board that read, "48 Minutes. 0 Points." You should be embarrassed. You have nothing left to say. You got shutout, now it's time for you to shut up.
  6. You apparently have short term memory. Starmes started at safety his sophomore and junior and was all-region. I don't know how you define tough, but if you don't think playing safety at a school that's consistently one of the best teams in the region fits that description, then I suggest you go back to grade school. You can also brush up on your grammar and spelling while your there. In the meantime, take a look at Ravenwood's receivers. Are any of them more of a "game-changer?" No.
  7. Look pal, if you want to puiblish books, the coacht is certainly not the best place to do it. And you need to shore up on your grammar. The "receiving core?" Try corps. As for your opinion on Jarriel Eaton, some things simply don't make sense. His two touchdowns against Hillsboro both came on long pass plays against what is probably one of the fastest teams in the state, and yet you don't consider him a deep ball threat. I can guarantee you Hillsboro's defensive backs are better than what Ravenwood can put on the field. Why don't we talk about Ravenwood for a second here? In week 0, the Raptors put on a great showing by losing to Class AA Goodpasture. Thanks for representing Region 6 well. I'm afraid I have to warn you, Franklin will have more talent and speed than Goodpasture. And if you want to be one of the teams the region "boils down to," try making the playoffs every year.
  8. Any chance you could whip me up a porthenator anytime soon? And maybe a little rendition of the Canadian national anthem?
  9. Porthenator? Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that was the name of a milkshake?
  10. Great point about the O-line. The backs have been getting all the attention but without the line it would never be possible.
  11. Centennial fans say this every year and yet it has not happened once. You really think Franklin is worse than Page?
  12. It's good to see you and your "new best friend" getting along.
  13. I'm not sure you would say Franklin's defense was dominated in the second half. Of the three touchdowns, one came on a short field after a blocked punt, one after a fumble, and the other on a drive maintained on a controversial penalty. Yes, Hillsboro's offense looked better, mainly due to them finally giving the ball to Eric Gordon, but they did not once drive the length of the field on Franklin. I do think Franklin's defense is a little suspect and they will definitely be tested by McCallie tomorrow.
  14. The good thing about that is that the comment still works. It's not like Page is a juggernaut. In fact, they probably aren't even as good as Centennial this year.
