  1. I know it might be a football cliche but the team with the fewest mistakes or turnovers wins this game. The Rebels have been really good on offense at times but continue to shoot themselves in the foot with mistakes. The defense has played lights out for several plays; then give up the big play. For the Rebels to win the offense has to eliminate the turnovers and the defense has to play physical and consistant. I like the Rebels in this one. Stewart County gives Creek Wood its first district loss.
  2. I thought Creek Wood was an double slot option team. Why did they switch to the Pro I formation against Harpeth? Was it because of all their injuries? What happened to the good running back Kimo is he going to play Friday? I would like to see Creek Wood at full strength.
  3. The Rebels have made too many mistakes on offense and have not been consistant on defense. This week they put it all together and win big over Houston Co. Stewart County is a good hard hitting football team. They have struggled on and off the field with several issues but this week it all comes together with a big rivalry win. They have had a great week of practice and are ready to get back on the winning side. Rebels big over the Irish.
  4. Don't count out the Rebels yet. They have struggled this year with turnovers and mistakes. If they eliminate the silly mistakes, then they can compete with the Lions. When the Rebels travel across the river Friday night they will be ready. Expect a physical fight from the Rebels. The Rebels will be ready and I like their chances.
  5. Stewart County wins if they don't make silly mistakes. Cheatham is big but Stewart Co is more physical and better conditioned. I like the Rebels in a hard fought physical game.
  6. What is Cheatham Co running on offense. I thought they were a spread team and throwing the ball alot. The stats said they only threw the ball 5 times and ran it 33 times. What kind of offense are they running?
  7. I saw Stewart Co. in a couple scrimmages. They can be pretty good if they eliminate their mistakes. No silly mistakes and Stewart Co. wins big over McEwen.
  8. I saw Stewart Co. scrimmage friday against East Robertson. They looked pretty good. They were very physical. East Robertson was bigger but the Rebels wore them down with there pace and hard physical play. I like what I saw in Stewart Co. Rebels
  9. Has Stewart County named a Defensive Coordinator? I think they started spring practice yesterday. How are they expected to do this year?
  10. At least our 3 fans had a lot more class than your fans. Looks like you avoided the comments. Yes riverside was the better team. Middleton played hard and gave you a fight. Nobody said anything about the refs or the fans causing the loss. Your fans were rude and yes one fan/parent had to be removed from the game because of his behavior. That's embarrassing. I feel sorry for the player #63. He plays hard and is a great player. Your fans Low class, which ever way you look at it.
  11. I was at the game and it was a very physical game. Middleton's defense made some big hits especially #42 and #44. Riverside was the better team, but I dont think they thought Middleton was going to be so physical even though they were some much smaller than Riverside. As for the fans, There were some bad comments made from the Riverside stands. One fan/parent actually came down to the field and started yelling at the refs. I know that individual was escorted to his car by the police and forced to leave the game. All the fans at riverside are not bad just one bad apple. Good luck in the playoffs.
  12. No the coach is not playing but they will play like him and not lose to Adamsville. Middleton will play hard. Keep it simple, Keep it brutal, Run over them on offense, Swarm on defense. Win Friday night! Go Tigers!
  13. Be careful what you ask for. The Tigers are ready. They are better than what you think. #42 will dominate. The coach from Middleton doesn't get his first loss to Adamsville friday night.
  14. I have seen the # 35 on film and he is a player. He plays hard. But watch out for #42 for Middleton he is bigger and also plays with alot of heart. The Tigers are going to make this a game. Your over-confidence will be your downfall. The head coach at Middleton is originally from Savannah and has never lost to Adamsville at anything and doesn't plan to start friday night.
  15. I like the Cardinals confidence. The Cardinals have more play makers and are very strong up front. However, the Tigers will be ready. I saw them again at practice today and they are ready to play. They will be playing several freshman due to fall break and injuries. The Tigers were very intense and motivated at practice today. The Tigers have nothing to lose and will give you a good game. Watch for number #42 on Middleton vs #35 on Adamsville it will be a great battle. The weather plays in favor to the Tigers. Turnovers will be the key to who wins. The Tigers are a huge underdogs but Adamsville better come ready to play because the Tigers are ready.
